Abstract

SMA-SMK Yapim Taruna Belawan is an institution engaged in the field of education. Student registration and reporting of student assessment results at SMA-SMK Yapim Taruna Belawan is a form of service for students/students. In terms of registration, efforts are made to be more effective and for the student assessment process covering all activities in schools to be more effective and efficient by using internet technology facilities in the form of a school academic system. The academic system that is currently operating at the Yapim Taruna Belawan High School and Vocational Schools is not all computerized and cannot be accessed online. In addition, every input of academic data that is stored in the form of sheets of paper is considered less effective and efficient because the administration section will experience difficulties when it comes to recording data when making reports. So that it is hoped that a better system will be formed that can solve these problems by implementing a web-based and mobile internet technology base, so that information can be accessed boldly

Abstract

Purpose: This community service program project developed an Artificial Intelligence-based expert system to support integrated medical services at the Bertha Primary Care Clinic in Medan by improving diagnostic accuracy, decision-making, and patient care quality. Methodology: The system was developed using a knowledge-based expert system with an inference mechanism that involved medical staff and patient data. Data collection included observations, interviews, medical record analyses, and case simulation testing. Results: The Artificial Intelligence based expert system improved the efficiency and accuracy of patient care by providing preliminary diagnostic recommendations, reducing patient wait times, and assisting medical staff in decision-making. Conclusions: The expert system effectively supports integrated medical care, enhances service quality, optimizes healthcare workflows, and demonstrates strong potential for primary healthcare facilities. Limitations: The system depends on the completeness and accuracy of the knowledge base, as well as the quality of the input data provided by users. Incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate data may affect the reliability of the system’s recommendations. In addition, testing was conducted only in one clinic, which limits the generalizability of the findings to other healthcare settings with different patient characteristics, operational procedures, and clinical needs. Contributions: This study offers a practical AI-based solution for primary healthcare services and demonstrates the potential of expert systems for medical decision support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas kecerdasan buatan (AI) sebagai media umpan balik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis akademik Bahasa Indonesia mahasiswa. Kemampuan menulis akademik merupakan kompetensi esensial di perguruan tinggi, namun banyak mahasiswa masih menghadapi hambatan dalam menghasilkan tulisan ilmiah yang berkualitas. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group dengan melibatkan 60 mahasiswa tahun pertama yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen, yang memanfaatkan ChatGPT sebagai media umpan balik, dan kelas kontrol yang menerima umpan balik konvensional dari dosen dan rekan sejawat. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, N-Gain, Independent Sample T-Test, dan effect size. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen (0,384) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0,326), keduanya berkategori sedang. Uji beda menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,030 (<0,05) dengan Cohen's d sebesar 0,574 (kategori sedang). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pemanfaatan AI sebagai media umpan balik secara signifikan dan bermakna secara praktis meningkatkan kemampuan menulis akademik serta mendukung otonomi belajar mahasiswa.
