Abstract

Pemasaran merupakan hal penting dalam bisnis. Tanpa pemasaran yang memadai, bisnis akan berhenti beroperasi. Pelaku home industry di desa Grujugan Kecamatan Gapura Kabupaten Sumenep memiliki kegiatan produksi produk inovatif gula siwalan dalam bentuk permen siwalan. Pengembangan produk inovatif gula siwalan merupakan program kerja mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata Universitas Wiraraja tahun 2019. Namun, saat ini produksi produk inovatif gula siwalan hampir tidak pernah dilakukan karena tidak adanya pemesan dan pembelian. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pendampingan kepada pelaku home industry permen siwalan untuk dapat menerapkan strategi pemasaran. Hal ini ditujukan agar produksi dan usaha home industry tersebut tetap berjalan, yang pada akhirnya dapat membantu perekonomian masyarakat Desa Grujugan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini berupa peninjauan awal, sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan monitoring. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu pelaku home industry mampu memahami, menyadari, dan menerapkan strategi pemasaran seperti pengemasan yang menarik, pengembangan jaringan penjualan, promosi dengan media offline (pamflet), dan promosi melalui media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of CEO characteristics on the Corporate Governance Index (CGI) with the characteristics of the corpo-rate secretary as a moderating variable. The sample used is a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period with a total of 939 observations. We offer novelty in the form of a combination of Shahwan's (2015) and Al-Hadi et al's (2017) CGI measurements to com-plement the shortcomings of both measurements and produce better re-search results and reduce bias. The data analysis used to answer the hy-pothesis is moderating regression analysis. The results showed that the characteristics of CEO age and CEO tenure had a significant effect on CGI. The characteristic of corporate secretary age is proven to moderate the effect of CEO age on CGI. The characteristics of corporate secretary tenure are proven to moderate the influence of CEO tenure on CGI. This research adds to the literature on CEO characteristics, characteristics of corporate secretaries and CGI, and provides important information that corporate secretaries need to pay attention to.

Abstract

Increasing awareness of the younger generation to utilize technology and the internet in accordance with current and future business developments and opportunities is an important thing to do. It becomes a problem for the nation and region when not all high school graduates can continue their studies to college and find work after graduating from high school, because it will increase the unemployment rate. One way to reduce the unemployment rate of high school graduates is to encourage high school graduates to want to become entrepreneurs. However, students who have graduated from high school find it difficult to start a business because of their lack of entrepreneurial knowledge. This phenomenon occurs in MA Ghayatul Anwar students. The knowledge of MA Ghayatul Anwar students in utilizing digital technology for entrepreneurship is very low, so that it has an impact on the interest in becoming entrepreneurs which is also low. Therefore, this PkM activity is carried out to increase the knowledge of partners in utilizing digital technology in entrepreneurship, as well as to increase the interest of partners in becoming entrepreneurs by utilizing digital technology. The methods used are socialization and training carried out to overcome the problems faced by partners. Based on the results of the pre-test, socialization, and post-test that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the knowledge of partners in utilizing digital technology for entrepreneurship has increased. In addition, the interest of partners in becoming entrepreneurs by utilizing digital technology has also increased.
