Abstract

The purpose of this research to improvement of active participation crawl style learning process in the swimming. The Subjects were the tenth  grade students of  MAN Karanganyar in the  lesson year  2013/ 2014 with using the small group, command style, part whole methods and model.This research will be done by using Classroom Action Research. This research consist of three cycles. Each cycle consist of two sessions, in every session there are four steps; (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The sum of Subject in this research is 131 students consist;  36  male and  95   female. Its result of this research was be shown that there is improvement of active participation crawl style learning process in the swimming with using the small group, command style, part whole methods and model toward the tenth grade students of MAN Karanganyar in the lesson year 2013/ 2014.
