<![CDATA[ABSTRAK UPAYA SATLANTAS POLRES TEGAL DALAM MENCEGAH PELANGGARAN LALU LINTAS OLEH PELAJAR DI WILAYAH HUKUM POLRES TEGAL AFDHAL ANANDA TOMAKATI, 18.212, afdhalananda53@gmail.com Situasi lalu lintas di Kabupaten Tegal yang begitu padat dengan tingginya jumlah penduduk dan pengguna kendaraan bermotor didukung dengan meningkatnya angka pelanggaran lalu lintas yang dilakukan oleh pelajar sekolah melatarbelakangi Unit Kamsel Satlantas Polres Tegal melakukan upaya pencegahan pelanggaran lalu lintas berupa Dikmas Lantas melalui Police Goes to School. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen Satlantas Polres Tegal melalui Police Goes to School dalam mencegah pelanggaran lalu lintas pelajar dan mendeskripsikan sumber daya organisasi Unit Kamsel Satlantas Polres Tegal sebagai upaya peningkatan peran dalam pelaksanaan Police Goes to School kepada pelajar di Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan telaah dokumen. Pada bab II kepustakaan konseptual, penulis menggunakan teori motivasi, teori manajemen, konsep Dikmas Lantas, konsep Police Goes to School, konsep pelanggaran lalu lintas, konsep pelajar, konsep administrasi sarana dan prasarana, dan konsep anggaran berbasis kinerja untuk menganalisa rumusan masalah pada bab I. Hasil penelitian pada tugas akhir ini yaitu upaya Satlantas Polres Tegal melalui Dikmas Lantas yaitu Police Goes to School kepada pelajar dalam mencegah pelanggaran lalu lintas yang sudah terlaksana, namun masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan, mulai dari planning karena tidak adanya sasaran sekolah, organizing karena kurangnya personel dan sarana prasarana, actuating karena pemberian materi yang tidak optimal dan controlling karena tidak dilaksanakannya Acara Arahan Pimpinan dan konsolidasi sebelum maupun sesudah kegiatan Police Goes to School. Berdasarkan pengamatan penulis, Unit Kamsel Satlantas Polres Tegal harus melakukan Police Goes to School secara menyeluruh kepada pelajar sekolah dengan memperhatikan sumber daya organisasi yang dimiliki dan meningkatkan manajemen pelaksanaan Police Goes to School agar dapat terlaksana dengan optimal sehingga angka pelanggaran lalu lintas pelajar dapat menurun di Kabupaten Tegal. ABSTRACT THE EFFORT OF TEGAL POLICE TRAFFIC UNIT IN PREVENTING TRAFFIC VIOLATION BY STUDENTS IN POLRES TEGAL LAW AREA AFDHAL ANANDA TOMAKATI, 18.212, afdhalananda53@gmail.com The traffic situation in Tegal Regency is very dense with a high number of residents and motorized vehicle users are supported by the increasing number of traffic violations committed by students. This research aims to describe the efforts of Dikmas Lantas through Police Goes to School in preventing student traffic violations and to describe efforts to improve the performance of the Kamsel Unit in implementing Police Goes to School for students in Tegal Regency and describe the organizational resources of the Kamsel Unit as an effort to increase the role in implementation of Police Goes to School for students in Tegal Regency. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document review. In chapter II of the conceptual literature, the researcher uses motivation theory, management theory, the concept of Dikmas Lantas, the Police Goes to School concept, the concept of traffic violations, the student concept, the concept of facilities dan infrastructure administration, and performance-based budget concept to analyze the problem formulation in chapter I. The results of the research in this thesis are the efforts of Dikmas Lantas through Police Goes to School to students that is implemented by the Kamsel Unit of Polres Tegal in preventing traffic violations that have been carried out, but there are still some shortcomings, ranging from planning due to the absence of school targets, organizing due to lack of personnel and infrastructure, actuating because the material is not optimal and controlling because AAP and consolidation are not implemented before and after Police Goes to School activities. Based on the researcher observations, Kamsel Satlantas Unit of Polres Tegal must carry out Police Goes to School as a whole for students with regard to organizational resources and improve the management of the implementation of Police Goes to School so that it can be carried out optimally so that the number of student traffic violations can decrease in Tegal Regency.
