Abstract

ASI or mother's milk is widely known to be able to provide appropriate nutrition for the needs of infants. WHO (World Health Organization) advises mothers around the world to give exclusive breastfeeding, namely giving only breast milk, without intake of other substances including water except vitamins; mineral; or medicine in the form of drops or syrup, during the first six months of the baby's life and continuing until the 2nd year of the baby's life. (Syafiq, 2017). Based on the state of the data above, the researcher wants to see an overview of breastfeeding mothers regarding exclusive breastfeeding in the Working Area of ??the Gunung Tua Health Center. Research Objectives To find out the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers about exclusive breastfeeding at the Gunung Tua Health Center. Type and Design This research is descriptive observational with a qualitative approach, conducted in the working area of ??the Gunung Tua Health Center to find out the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers about exclusive breastfeeding at the Gunung Tua Health Center. The population in this study were all breastfeeding mothers who had babies 0-6 months at Gunung Tua Health Center totaling 40 people. The total sample was all breastfeeding mothers who visited as many as 40 people. Based on these results, the knowledge of postpartum mothers showed that the majority had good knowledge of breastfeeding, totaling 22 people (55%). For attitudes, the research results obtained attitudes towards postpartum mothers which showed that the majority had good attitudes about breastfeeding, as many as 25 people (65.5%) , And based on the results of this study on the actions of postpartum mothers who showed the majority had sufficient action totaling 18 people (45%). Conclusions Based on the description of the results and discussion it can be concluded from the results of research conducted on 40 respondents in the Working Area of ??the Gunung Tua Health Center as a whole it can be it was concluded that postpartum mothers had good knowledge, namely 22 people (55%), good attitude of 25 people (62.5%) and those who had good enough actions were 18 people (45%).

Abstract

Husbands have an important role, where husbands are highly demanded not only as breadwinners but husbands as motivators in various policies that will be decided, including family planning. Therefore, a husband who supports his wife using long-term contraceptives such as the IUD can be an incentive for a woman to participate in government programs. The researcher's preliminary study at the Binanga Health Center, Barumun Tengah District, on 15 (fifteen) people, who used 4 pills, 7 injections, 2 condoms, 2 IUDs and no MOW and MOP. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal anxiety levels and husband's support with the choice of intrauterine device (IUD). This research uses total sampling research . The sample in this study were couples of childbearing age (EFA) as many as 30 respondents. The results showed that the level of anxiety was severe (46.7%), moderate (30%) and mild (23.3%). Meanwhile, husbands who do not support (53.3%), are less supportive (23.3%) and support (23.3%). And who chose the IUD (30%) and Non IUD (70%). The conclusion of the study showed that there was a relationship between the level of maternal anxiety and husband's support with the choice of an intrauterine device (IUD).

Abstract

His height Number death Mother in Indonesia caused by a number of factor health and non-health, for example there are still many births assisted by witch doctor baby or caused by disease or problem nutrition. The maternal mortality rate (MMR) is one indicator of maternal health in Indonesia Still tall when compared to with country ASEAN. Knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy is very important for mothers to know pregnant if found sign danger pregnancy can quick Possible request help to power health. The aim of this community service is as a form of the tri dharma of higher education and also to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy in Aek Haruaya Village, Portibi District, North Padang Lawas Regency. This community service was carried out on January 8 2024 and the implementation went well with the number of participants being 25 pregnant women. It is hoped that after carrying out this activity it can increase pregnant women's knowledge about the signs and dangers that can occur during pregnancy.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is a major cause of maternal morbidity and mortality. One of the non-pharmacological treatments that can be given to people with high blood pressure is dietary treatment. This can be done by eating vegetables that can affect blood pressure, such as cucumber (Cucumis Sativus L.). Cucumber has hypotensive (lowers blood pressure) properties. The contents of cucumbers can help lower blood pressure because cucumbers contain potassium, magnesium and phosphorus, which are effective in the treatment of hypertension. The aim of this activity is to inform pregnant women and mothers-to-be about one of the non-pharmacological ways of reducing hypertension that can occur during pregnancy, namely by drinking cucumber juice. The methods used were lectures and question and answer sessions. This programme was conducted in August 2024 with 20 pregnant women in Aek Haruaya village as respondents. The results of the community service were an average pre-test score of 50 points and an average post-test score of 70 points, there was an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women about giving cucumber juice to reduce hypertension with an average increase of 20 points. It is hoped that education will increase pregnant women's knowledge of non-pharmacological efforts to reduce hypertension, which can occur during pregnancy.
