Abstract

Learning outcomes become a benchmark in one's success. Choosing the right learning application can make students comfortable and happy in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning media using the quizizz application on student learning outcomes in discrete mathematics courses. The population used in this study were all students of the Faculty of Engineering, Putra Indonesia University. The samples used were students in semesters V A and V B. This research method used the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. To find out the effect of using the quizizz application on student learning outcomes in the fifth semester discrete mathematics course, Faculty of Engineering at Putra Indonesia Cianjur University, several tests were carried out, namely, instrument tests including validity and reliability, analysis prerequisite tests, namely normality, homogeneity, and T test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing are known through the calculation results of Tcount 2.329 > Ttable 2.039 with a confidence level of 95% or α 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the use of the quizizz application on the learning outcomes of Discrete Mathematics fifth semester students at Putra Indonesia University, Cianjur.   Keywords: Quizizz Application, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1). Mengetahui peningkatan berpikir kritis terhadap matematik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri; 2). Mengetahui peningkatan setiap aspek berpikir kritis dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri; 3). Mengetahui respon siswa dalam pembelajaran inkuiri di SMK Pasundan 2 Cianjur. Metode penelitian ini yaitu Kurt Lewis yang terdiri dari pra- siklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengujian hipotesis, yang didapatkan dari tes formatif untuk melihat persentase tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis, sedangkan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran inkuiri dengan menyebarkan angket untuk mengetahui responnya positif atau tidak. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 40,6% yaitu pada siklus ke I sebesar 19,5% dan siklus ke II sebesar 21,1%. Kemampuan siswa pada semua aspek berpikir kritis meningkat, yaitu aspek memberikan penjelasan sederhana sebesar 18,8% dari pra-siklus ke siklus I, dan 20,6% dari siklus I ke siklus II, aspek penjelasan lebih lanjut sebesar 20% dari pra-siklus ke siklus I, dan 20,9% dari siklus I ke siklus II, aspek membuat strategi dan taktik sebesar 18,2% dari pra-siklus ke siklus I dan 20% dari siklus I ke siklus II, aspek membuat kesimpulan sebesar 22,3% dari pra-siklus ke siklus I dan 20,3% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil penelitian juga dapat disimpulkan adanya sikap positif terhadap model pembelajaran inkuiri.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities, are activities aimed at making students become intelligent, independent, careful, in carrying themselves in their lives, to become so, the important role of 2 (two) learning elements is needed, namely teacher professionalism and learning media (means). The focus of this research is on learning media, at Muhammadiyah Cianjur Middle School based on learning observations only using textbooks, or adding additional student worksheets, so that the acceptance of the material is not optimal resulting in not optimal achievement. This research is based on observations and information from the subject curriculum. What is of concern is science subjects, so based on this information a science learning application or multimedia was built using augmented reality technology so that the application is called ArIPA, because there is a lot of science discussion, ArIPA only discusses Astronomy, using the MDLC development method. So that an application is produced that is able to support teaching and learning science subjects, sub-chapter Astronomy, the application has been tested and all tools and application menus are in accordance with the learning objectives
