SUFI GOVERNANCE : APLIKASI ILMU TASAWUF DALAM PEMERINTAHAN Saleh, Akhmad Hasan

Abstract

Indonesian bureaucracy issues were patched through program reform of the bureaucracy which is a post-crisis demand economic reforms in 1997. Bappenas asserts that other reforms will not be runs well without first reforming government bureaucracy. Bureaucratic reform aims to make the bureaucracy is able to carry out its duties more efficiently and effectively so that it can be realized clean government and good governance. Bureaucratic reforms initiated by the government it is still not able to fix the bureaucratic culture, especially presses bureaucratic behavior that tends to corrupt. In other words, the reform of the internal bureaucracy alone is not effective in combating corruption. A source of disease bureaucracy basically can be identified from two loci, namely internal and External. Internal sources derived from the weaknesses and failures the existing system in the bureaucracy itself. Internally, the incidence of corrupt behavior the bureaucracy is also due to weak internal control systems. By hence the necessary tools to change the bureaucratic apparatus as spirituality the prevention and eradication of corruption. This is where the later Sufi governance will be a tool to overcome corruption. Sufi governance solution offered is to lean back on the right monotheism. Because the true monotheism then the bureaucrats in charge of serving the community will carry out their duties in a comprehensive manner; as which ones have been listed in the code of ethics bureaucracy, and he will always see the task as a mandate instead of a means to accumulate wealth and depriving people whom it serves. In addition, many research findings show that spiritual approaches such as those in the Sufi concept of governance can be a solution  for the government to eliminate corruption through a spiritual approach.Keywords; sufi governance, tasawuf, corruption, and government

Abstract

Loss of Adab! Kata ini menjadi sangat familiar didengar ditelinga para akademisi yang gemar dengan dunia pemikiran dan pendidikan beberapa tahun belakangan ini. Menurut Prof. Syed Naquib Al-Attas (SMN Al-Attas) bahwa loss of adab adalah akar masalah bangsa saat ini. Prof. Syed Muhamad Naquib Al-Attas-lah yang telah mengungkapkan kata ini sebagai inti masalah manusia saat ini. Beliau mengungkap tiga hal yg menjadi akar masalah umat: Pertama adalah Ilmu yg rusak. Kedua, loss of adab (hilangnya adab). Ketiga, kemunculan pemimpin palsu. Hilangnya adab menyebabkan perilaku manusia yang menyimpang dan keluar dari fitrah kemanusiaannya. Hal ini yang menyebabkan munculnya berbagai masalah seperti kemiskinan, pengangguran, kejahatan, kriminalitas, korupsi, bencana alam, dll. Hilangnya adap pada TuhanNya, hilangnya adab pada sesame manusia, hilangnya adab pada orang tua, adab pada alam semestas, adab dalam berbsnis, adab dalam bekerja, dan lain sebagainya.Prof. Syed M.Naquib al-Attas menyetakan bahwa ini menyebabnya adalah cara pandang yang salah terhadap realitas. Realitas hanya dibatasi pada realitas empiris saja. Ini yang menyebab manusia tidak merasa “diawasi” oleh TuhanNya, tidak merasa bahwa Tuhan itu ada. Realitas yang non-empiris tidak dianggap. Inilah cara pandang realitas yang salah, dan inilah yang menyebabkan loss of adab ini terjadi.Solusinya adalah ada pada cara pandang (wordview). Al Attas menyatakan bahwa cara pandang, sikap dan etika seorang Muslim dikendalikan oleh pemikirannya dalam memahami realitas di alam ini, baik realitas fisik maupun metafisik. Seorang Muslim yang memiliki visi keakhiratan memiliki perspektif berbeda dengan orang yang bervisi keduniawian semata dalam melihat setiap realitas dalam kehidupan. Dengan cara pandang yang mengedepankan keakhiratan menjadikan manusia lebih beradab. Dan adab didapatkan melalui pendidikan yang benar dan berkurikulum akhirat bukan hanya dunia. Kata Kunci: Loss of adab, Wordview, Permasalahan Bangsa, dan Realitas.

Abstract

Prof. Naquib Al-Attas that the servant is obliged to perform service (khidmah) to Allah SWT. With this practice of khidmah, humans are called 'abd (servants). The practice of this khidmah is with worship, namely doing something that is ordered and living according to His rules. So, the meaning of din has four dimensions, namely indebtedness, surrender, the power of law, and natural tendencies. In many discussions about khidmah, it is only interpreted narrowly, namely only in the field of education, especially education in the life of Islamic boarding schools. This dissertation research proposal analyzes the concept of khidmah in a more comprehensive dimension and will contribute to the epistemology of Islamic psychology, tasawuf, and philosophy of Islamic education. This is at the same time novelty and will contribute to the study of thought, because this research will provide novelty in which the study of the concept of khidmah is comprehensive and philosophical. Because most khidmah studies are only partial in one scientific discipline, this dissertation will examine it philosophically (evidence gap and knowledge gap). This research is one of the few studies that conducts a philosophical study of the concept of khidmah and its contribution to the epistemology tasawwuf and Islamic philosophy of education.
