Abstract

Early marriage is a marriage that is carried out by someone, be it a man or a woman when his age has not yet reached true maturity . In accordance with Law no. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, it is stated that the age limit for marriage is 19 years for men and 16 for women and then revised again by Law no. 16 of 2019 the limit is 19 years for both men and women. This study aims to determine the effect of social media in encouraging teenagers to have early marriage in Padangsidimpuan City. The factors that will be studied in this study are the use of social media by teenagers such as Youtube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software to simplify calculations. This type of research is quantitative research using a questionnaire, it can be concluded that the influence of social media on early marriage is 61.4%.

Abstract

Communities as one of the main elements in development today are increasingly required to participate. This research is important as an example of a program study whose management is based on community empowerment to encourage commitment and partisanship of the government in establishing policies for poverty reduction efforts with a participatory development pattern. Because the management of community empowerment-based programs is very different from programs whose management is not based on community empowerment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Settlement Infrastructure Development Acceleration and Expansion Program and see the government's efforts in empowering the community to answer the main problems of Padangsidimpuan city development. Theoretically. The research method is carried out through descriptive analysis, which is a fact finding method with the right interpretation. This descriptive analysis focuses on the problems that existed at the time the research was carried out which were actual and described the facts about the problem being investigated as they were, accompanied by a strong rational interpretation. The results showed that, Based on the results of data analysis for each variable, it was concluded that the implementation of the Community Empowerment-based Acceleration and Expansion of the Settlement Infrastructure Development Program in Padangsidimpuan City was very effective, this can be seen from the results of respondents' answers on the effectiveness variable, where the percentage obtained is equal to 86.06% and is in the "good" category.

Abstract

The profession of most of the people of Rimba Soping Village is farming. But they do not own their own land or work as farm laborers on other people's land. The increasing cost of living necessities means that many of them still need assistance from the government, such as assistance from the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). The aim of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) is to improve the welfare of the people of Rimba Soping Village. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in improving the welfare of the community in Rimba Soping Village and what factors hinder the implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that financial assistance from the government has not been completely successful in improving welfare, but on the other hand it can meet the daily needs of the people who receive the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) assistance. Factors that hinder the implementation of PKH are the education of the head of the family which is still low, the income earned from working as farmers is still low because they are only farm laborers, population growth is quite high compared to other villages in the same sub-district. Then, the implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) has not gone well, because there are still many obstacles in terms of the accuracy of the nominal amount and the timing of disbursement of funds, as well as assistance for school-age children's education costs not being used optimally.
