AbstrakPenelitian ini mengenai formulasi tablet effervescent Kulit Buah Rambutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui formulasi yang tepat tablet effervescent yang dibuat dari ekstrak kulit buah rambutan Rapiah melalui pengujian karakteristik fisik dan kimia. Metode yang yang dilakukan dengan granulasi kering dan basah. Tiga variant formulasi masing-masing dengan dosis ekstrak 197 mg; 393 mg; dan 591 mg. Hasil penelitian yang didapat berupa berat ekstrak kental 170,7 gram, berat ekstrak kering sebesar 200 gram, kadar air ekstrak sebesar 2,2% pada suhu 105 oC, uji kandungan antioksidan ekstrak sebesar 80,130 bpj, uji sudut diam granul 35,2; 35,53; 36,9 oC, uji waktu alir granul 3,18 detik; 3,22 detik dan 3,31 detik. Perhitungan CV dari keseragaman bobot adalah 0,13 %, 0,16% dan 0,3 %, uji kekerasan tablet 9, 3 kg ; 6 kg ; 7,3 kg; uji kerapuhan tablet 0,44%; 0,4%; 0,39%, uji kelarutan 2,074 menit; 2,31 menit; 3,26 menit, uji tanggap rasa menyatakan bahwa ketiga formula asam manis, uji kandungan antioksidan tablet effervescent 16,54 bpj; 130,94 bpj dan 131 bpj. Data uji mutu fisik tablet effervescent yang diperoleh dibandingkan dengan Farmakope Indonesia III. Konsentrasi ekstrak Kulit Buah Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum) menghasilkan formulasi yang terbaik sebagai antioksidan dan tanggap rasa yang paling baik adalah Formulasi ke III. The purpose of this study was to determine the extract formulation effervescent tablet made from the bark extract of rambutan Rapiah through testing the characteristics of physical, and chemical. The method is carried out with dry and wet granulation. Three variants of each formulation contained of 197 mg extract, 393 mg, 591 mg. The extract weight was 170.7 grams, and the weight of dry extract was 200 grams, the water content of the extract was 2.2 % at a temperature of 105oC, the test antioxidant content of the extract was 80.130 ppm, the angle of repose test of granules were 35.20; 35.530; 36.90, the flow time test of granule were 3.18 seconds; 3.22 seconds and 3.31 seconds. The CV calculation of uniformity of weight was0.13%, 0.16% and 0.3%, the hardness test was 9.3 kg; 6 kg; 7.3 kg; the friability test of tablet was 0.44%; 0.4%; 0.39%, the solubility test were 2,074 minutes; 2.31 minutes; and 3.26 minutes, the test response results that the formula taste were sweet and sour of three formulas, the antioxidant content of effervescent tablet were 16.54 ppm; 130.94 ppm and 131 ppm. The data obtained were compared with the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia III. Rambutan fruit skin extracts concentration (Nephelium lappaceum) produces the best formulations as antioxidants and flavor best response is the Formulation III.
