Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze how Islamic microfinance institution can realize genderequality, especially in the economic field, by empowering women entrepreneurs. This study shows that; First,women entrepreneurs are potential customers for how Islamic microfinance institution, this is given that femaleentrepreneurs in Indonesia are still small, and in practice experience many obstacles, including the lack ofnetworks / relationships (lack of business networks), can not meet the banking requirements (Unbankable)and products Less competitive. Second, the existence of how Islamic microfinance institution has severaladvantages compared to other financial institutions: (1) Providing various types of financial services that arerelevant or in accordance with the real needs of the community and are not in conflict with Islamic law, (2)Serving unbankable low-income groups, and (3) Using contextual and flexible procedures and mechanisms.Third, the model of financing for women entrepreneurs that can be carried out by how Islamic microfinanceinstitution to empower women entrepreneurs, including: (i) the Joint Responsibility Model and (ii) Adat-basedFinancing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine more deeply the dynamics and relations between law and the economy in Indonesia. Based on the discussion above, a conclusion can be drawn that, First, the dynamics between law and the economy are related to the constitution that applies in a country, law (statutory regulations) exists to guarantee and facilitate the existing economic system, in this case related to economic activities not can be carried out without a conducive situation or condition, then the law in the form of statutory regulations is present to guarantee legal certainty and from this second pattern the law is sometimes more determinant of the economy. Second, based on data and facts from the development of the Islamic economy presented, that the laws and regulations that apply in Indonesia during certain government periods tend to facilitate Islamic-based economic systems and patterns (sharia economy), especially the Islamic economy that is currently developing is also in line with state constitution or aligned with the values of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
