Abstract

Mathematics education must begin when children enter school, namely at the elementary school level. The success of a student's education can be influenced by the learning approach used by the teacher. In particular, the additional lessons covered in the first grade of elementary school are very suitable for the PMR learning model. Learning to count can be facilitated by using candy-themed media and educational videos. The purpose of this study was to analyses the results of applying the PMR learning model to the educational process in relation to student learning. PTK which includes cycles I and II is the methodology of choice for this study. The PMR learning model was not implemented in Cycle I until after the pre-test was carried out. In Cycle II, we practiced the PMR learning paradigm with the help of learning videos and candy media. Twenty students from grade one at elementary school participated in this study. Data collection techniques were collected by tests and documentation. The result of this study show the average student score in cycle I was below the KKM standard. The KKM requirements were met with an average student in cycle II after the PMR learning model was applied. The findings from this study indicate that when the PMR learning paradigm is used together with learning videos and candy media, student learning outcomes show a significant increase.

Abstract

Elementary school students' low science learning outcomes are caused by a lack of student interest in learning, students' laziness in taking notes, and the lack of media that supports learning in class. This study aimed to analyze the Guided Note Taking method assisted by video media on the success of students' scientific learning in human hearing material. This study uses a quantitative experimental research method, namely a quasi-experimental design. Data collection instruments use documentation, questionnaires and tests. The population used in the study amounted to 30 students. The sample for this research was taken in two classes determined by a simple random sampling technique; each class consisted of 15 students. Test forms and questionnaires are used as data collection instruments. The data analysis technique used is inferential statistics. The study results show the effect of using the Guided Note Taking method assisted by video media on science learning outcomes in the era of society 5.0. it was concluded that using the Guided Note Taking method assisted by video media could improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students. This research implies that teachers in science learning can apply the Guided Note Taking approach assisted by video media to increase students' interest in education and impact student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Several problems developed in the field, namely, the achievement of student learning objectives, still needed to be optimal due to the need for instructors' understanding of explaining and asking skills. This study aims to analyze the relationship between explaining skills and learning outcomes in mathematics, the relationship between asking skills and learning outcomes in mathematics, and the relationship between explaining skills and questioning skills with learning outcomes in class VI MI students. This study uses a quantitative methodology and uses ex-post facto. The population of this study was 24 students, and 23 students were taken as a sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection tools used are surveys and documentation studies. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale which had previously been evaluated for normality and reliability. Pearson product-moment correlation, multiple correlation, and F-test were used for data analysis. The results of testing the hypothesis show a significant and positive relationship between explaining skills and mathematics learning outcomes. There is a positive and significant relationship between questioning skills and mathematics learning outcomes. There is a positive relationship between explaining and asking skills and mathematics learning outcomes. It was concluded that there was a positive and statistically significant relationship between the ability to explain and the skills to ask questions with the mathematics learning outcomes of MI class VI students.

Abstract

One of the problems in the learning process for elementary school children is the lack of focus and concentration in learning because teachers often use conventional models and do not interactive. The failure to achieve mastery of learning is caused by students' weak understanding of the material being taught, and the lack of teacher creativity in developing learning models so that the learning outcomes obtained are less than optimal. The researcher aims to analyse the effect between the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model and learning motivation of elementary students on learning outcomes in PPKn subjects. In this study the quantitative experimental method was used with the pretest and posttest experimental designs used. The sample used was 30 students. Data collection techniques is using a pretest-posttest and giving questionnaires to students. The data analysis technique uses a two-way analysis of variance to test the hypothesis. However, a requirement test was carried out, which included a normality test and a homogeneity test. Based on the analysis of the results, there is a relationship between applying the PjBL learning model and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Civics subjects in elementary schools. It was concluded that applying the PjBL learning model and learning motivation could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The pancasila student profile strengthening project was created to optimize students' abilities by strengthening the pancasila student profile, which was develop based on a theme. However it is not introduced directly in every educational institution, but rather gradually and is not limited to the content basis. This research aims to analyse students' enthusiasm for implementing P5 in the implementation of the new curriculum by focusing on the theme of local wisdom that develops through project-based learning. The qualitative description method was applied in this study. This study is based on primary and secondary data. This study's principal data sources are fourth-grade teachers and fourth-grade learners, while the secondary data are the results of observation and documentation in the form of project modules and the results of P5 implementation activities on the theme of local wisdom. Data analysis technique used is interactive, and it consists of four components of the analysis process: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study's findings revealed that learners were highly enthusiastic about the application of P5. Although it was relatively new in the implementation of the independent curriculum, it was able to become a new value for students and teachers so that the projects carried out did not hinder the learning process by determining the choice of themes by the teacher. in accordance with the facilities and capabilities of the school. Improving the character values of students according to the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

Reading is the most common learning difficulty experienced by elementary school students in the early or lower grades. Early-grade elementary school students have significant problems related to reading and language skills. It impacts the reading ability scores of Grade 2 elementary school students, which are still low, so new methods are needed to improve student's reading skills. This study aimed to analyze the role-playing method's use on the reading ability of Grade 2 elementary school students. This research is a type of experimental research. This study used a pre-experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design (pretest test-posttest single group). The subjects in this study were all 2nd-grade elementary school students, totaling 32 students consisting of 13 girls and 19 boys. The methods used to collect data are observation and tests. The instrument used is a matter of difficulty. Data analysis techniques using inferential statistical analysis. The result of the study show that the role-playing method significantly improves the reading ability of grade 2 elementary students. Thus, giving the role-playing process can improve the reading ability of grade 2 elementary students.

Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia, particularly at the primary and secondary levels, is a major problem for the country's human resource capacity. Various efforts have been made to improve the quality of education nationally through several channels. Thus, this study aims to analyze the effect of the factile application-assisted inquiry learning model in improving students' science learning achievement. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of quasi-experimental research. This study surveyed 78 participants in two classes, 38 and 40 respectively. Data was collected using the test method with an instrument in the form of a science learning achievement test. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest. The analysis showed that the average posttest score for the control class assisted by factile applications was 86.12, while the average pretest learning achievement for the experimental class was 86.96. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test shows that the data follows a normal distribution. The t-test results showed an effect of factile application-assisted inquiry models on the science learning outcomes of grade IV students. It was concluded that the factile application-assisted inquiry learning model affected the learning outcomes of elementary school students.
