Abstract

This study aims to to analyze the use of psalms wisdom in worship of the ancient israelites and its relevance terdap toraja church liturgy .As we know and i will sing praise certificate is a hallmark of the liturgy of the early church singing psalms were of one piece with attention psalm especially in important in the church toraja psalm reciprocating can be read , namely reading from a written note that have parked and into reciprocating as well as to the people of liturgical leader , can also use women and men .And to find out more writer wearing a method of exposition and also by increasing the qualitative research was conducted by the use of books and research diperpustakaan by conducting field a number of interviews .In the book of psalms it has meaning namely giving guidance to get a feeling about the same as in giving guidance bible passages to faith and our actions. The functions and benefits and meaning of reality is for the congregation of the lord in ancient times even now used by the hebrews in church at the temple and jews today use it in rumah-rumah sembayang mereka.orang christian anciently will sing it can be seen in colossians 3: 16 , james 5: 13 and hitherto has always worn all by the lord , which is priceless to the service, comfort , grace or unmerited favor , and steadiness with joy , specifically in the toraja of worship a church.

Abstract

The term "levirate marriage" or brother-in-law marriage used in Deuteronomy is certainly not familiar to some people in modern times. The story of Ruth clearly shows that levirate marriage is actually based on Deuteronomy 25:5-6. This paper uses a systematic methodology by showing how the concept of levirate marriage is in Deuteronomy 25:5-6 and relates it to a theological understanding based on the Bible as a whole. The practice of levirate marriage in the text of Deuteronomy 25:5-6 had an important value in maintaining the family line and preventing the extinction of lineage in Jewish society at that time. However, the relevance of this practice to in-law marriage is still debated and is not used as a basis for in-law marriages in Judaism or other religions.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of religion in overcoming social inequality in a contemporary context. Social inequality is a complex and deep issue involving aspects such as economic, political, cultural and social. In seeking solutions to these inequalities, religion often has an important role to play in shaping societal views of well-being, justice and human relations. This study uses a theological approach to analyze the contribution of religion in overcoming social inequality. Through theological understanding, this paper will identify the values ??that underlie religious teachings that can be a source of inspiration and motivation for social transformation. First, this paper will explain the understanding of social inequality in the contemporary context, including its causes and impacts on society. Then, the focus will shift to the role of religion in helping to overcome this social inequality. Furthermore, this paper will analyze theological perspectives from various religions regarding social issues such as poverty, economic inequality, gender differences, and human rights. Through exploring sacred texts and religious doctrines, the author will highlight universal values ??that inspire and motivate religious people to act in overcoming social inequality.
