Abstract

This study aims to determine the investment costs, total production costs and income for the intensive system of Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) and to determine the feasibility study of the intensive system of Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) cultivation (Case Study: Pak Boy Pond Business in Seruway District). Aceh Tamiang Regency) seen from the Break Even Point (BEP), Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio), Payback Period (PP) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).This research is a case study research and was carried out on an intensive system of vaname shrimp cultivation at Pak Boy Pond Business located in Seruway District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The sampling technique for this research was done intentionally (purposive sampling). Purposive sampling is a sampling technique or data source with certain considerations, namely people who really understand the conditions of Pak Boy's Pond Business. The subject of this research as a resource person is Mr. Boy as the owner of the business. There are two methods of data analysis used to determine the feasibility of this intensive system of vaname shrimp farming, namely income analysis and business feasibility analysis. The research results obtained are; 1) The investment cost of Pak Boy's Pond Business is Rp. 3.216.800.000,-. The total cost of production in one year is Rp. 4,589,387,000,-. Total income in one year is Rp. 5.289.922.000,-. 2) Production BEP is 75,889 Kg and the production of Pak Boy Pond Business exceeds the BEP value of production which is 134,592 Kg, BEP price is Rp. 34,099.00 and the average selling price of vaname shrimp exceeds the BEP Price of Rp. 60,475.00, Ratio Net B/C obtained is 6.9 greater than 1, Payback period is 0.6 years, NPV obtained is 19,066,275,861 greater than 0, IRR obtained is 163.14% greater than the stated interest rate . So it can be said that the intensive system of vaname shrimp cultivation in Pak Boy's Pond is feasible.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of socio-economic factors on the income of dry betel nut (Areca catechu L.) farmers in Wono Sari Village, Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling method. Saturated sampling method is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. The number of samples in this study were 30 dried betel nut farmers in Wono Sari Village, Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. To determine the effect of socio-economic factors on the income of dry betel nut (Areca catechu L.) farmers in Wono Sari Village, Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, statistical analysis was used with the multiple linear regression method. Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 20 computer software. The results of this study indicate that the variable level of education and other types of work have a significant effect on the income of Dry Pinang Farmers (Areca catechu L.) in Wono Sari Village, Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. and the variables of residence and position in the community have no significant effect on the income of Dry Pinang Farmers (Areca catechu L.) in Wono Sari Village, Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the income of women workers in the melinjo chips home industry business in increasing family income and analyzing the contribution of the income of women workers in the melinjo chips home industry business to family income in Tebing Tanjung Selamat Village, Padang Tualang District, Langkat Regency. The location of this research was carried out in Tebing Tanjung Selamat Village, Padang Tualang District, Langkat Regency with the consideration that the area is a home industry for melinjo chips. Primary data was obtained by means of direct interviews and questionnaires with respondents. In this study, the number of samples was 21 female workers who worked in the melinjo emping home industry who were married. The determination of the number of samples used by the author in this study is the saturated sample method. The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative for the involvement of women workers in the melinjo emping home industry business and the contribution of income obtained from women workers. The results showed that; 1) The average income earned by female workers every month is Rp. 655.429/Month. This income is far below the UMK (Regency/City Minimum Wage) of Langkat Regency, which is Rp. 2,711,000. However, this income is considered very helpful for the family's economy. 2) The contribution of female workers' income to family income is 26%, meaning that the contribution of female workers' income based on the contribution interval scale is included in the medium contribution criteria (20.00-30.00%).
