Abstract

Based on the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS), the maternalmortality rate (related to pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) is 359per 100,000 live births. After conducting a preliminary study at the KaranganyarRegional General Hospital, medical record data contained 9 incidents ofpostpartum hemorrhage and 1 incident of headache, epigastric pain, and blurredvision.This research uses a descriptive method. Sampling with nonprobability samplingtechnique accidental sampling type, the number of samples in this study were 30respondents. Data obtained by using a questionnaire and analysis usingunivariate analysis.knowledge of postpartum mothers about the danger signs during the postpartumperiod in Karanganyar Hospital was categorized as good as many as 14respondents (46.6%), sufficient knowledge as many as 11 respondents (36.6%),and lack of knowledge as many as 5 people (16.6%).The conclusion in this study was the knowledge of postpartum mothers inKaranganyar Hospital in the good category.

Abstract

Pregnancy causes physical and psychological changes, so the body needs adaptations that interfere with the mother's metabolism. The adaptation stage will cause discomfort in pregnancy and childbirth later. Ten of the third-trimester pregnant stated that they were worried about themselves and the fetus they were carrying. The purpose of the assistance is to prepare pregnant women in the third trimester to be ready to face physical, psychological, and mental changes when the stomach is getting bigger, and childbirth is about to go through. The method used training with a series of lectures and doing prenatal yoga exercises. Puskesmas Sangkrah of Surakarta City is a partner in community service. The results achieved were a change in knowledge and understanding of third-trimester pregnancy regarding the physiology of the third pregnancy from before being given education. The average knowledge was 72%. After being given health education, the mother's knowledge increased to 100%. After doing prenatal yoga, eleven mothers who participated in yoga stated that the mother was able to accept the changes in the third trimester of pregnancy because she was able to start processing their emotions and enjoying their pregnancy.

Abstract

Cervicitis is a non-specific genital infection in women of childbearing age. More than 37% cervicitis marked by mucopurulent fluid and inflammation of cervical epithelium usually occurs. More than 75% of women in the world will experience vaginal discharge at least 2 times in their lifetime. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of knowledge, attitudes and perceptions in cervicitis prevention behavior in women of childbearing age in Boyolali. Analytical research design with a cross sectional approach using randomized sampling, questionnaires as a collection tool, the analysis used was univariate and bivariate with Spearman rank test. The result of knowledge has a very weak relationship strength to behavior (correlation coefficient = 0.40), attitudes have a very weak relationship strength to behavior (correlation coefficient = 0.129) and perception has a moderate relationship strength (correlation coefficient = 0.213). So, behavior towards cervical prevention is influenced by perception but is not always influenced by knowledge and attitudes.

Abstract

Background: Women are one of the supports for national development that is not only seen from the social sphere. The success of the family planning program is highly dependent on community participation, namely family commitment between mothers and husbands. The participation and empowerment of women in contributing to the success of the family planning program is a potential strategy for increasing women's access and cultural transformation. Community service aims to increase women's knowledge and understanding of their role in improving family welfare through family planning safaris. Methods: Health counselling was used as a way to improve community health. A pretest and posttest related to the theme were conducted to determine the results of the improvement and understanding of participants. Results: There was an increase in knowledge and understanding from the pretest results showing that only 71% of women knew and understood the role of women. After receiving health counselling, women's knowledge and understanding became 100%. Conclusion: This means that counselling is still an effective way to empower by increasing knowledge and understanding related to the role of women as a way to improve family welfare through the Safari KB program.
