Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to restore one's belief in the real religion, and why someone becomes bored (banality) in getting information on social media. The research method uses library research by collecting data from writings (literacy) that are related to the topics discussed, namely the substance of religion and the banality of media. The results of this study indicate that religion and the media on the one hand have something in common, namely in terms of seeking the truth. Religion seeks truth. The media is also moving in search of the truth. The difference is, if religion claims to have found the truth, the media does not say so. Religion and the media no longer need to be contradicted because both are in a condition of mutual need. The substance of religion is very necessary for its existence by the community because religion plays a role and functions to direct humans to belief, goodness, teaches and educates humans to be gentle in heart, soul, body and mind. Meanwhile, media banality is a condition when various messages and information conveyed through mass media lose their spirit and become meaningless.

Abstract

The existence of the world of television in Indonesia began with the presence of Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI), namely as the first television station in Indonesia. This was followed by the emergence of private TV stations such as Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI), Surya Citra Televisi (CSTV), Indosiar, Trans TV, Trans 7, TV ONE, MNC TV, NET TV, and so on. Of course, with the development of technology and information in the field of television, there have appeared challenges on television shows, both comedies, films, talk shows, music or quizzes and even soap operas. Of the many shows on every television, there is one show that is currently going viral, namely the bond of love among Indonesian people, especially among women. The method used in writing this article is constructivism. Constructivism emphasizes truth in a social reality that can be seen as a social construction. The results of this study indicate that the soap opera Ikatan Cinta from a Dramaturgi perspective is an episode that matches the scenario that has been made as attractive as possible, so that the message to be communicated through verbal and non-verbal discussion on the soap opera Cinta Cinta can be accepted and can even entertain all people. This is in accordance with Dramaturgo Goffman's theory, in which theory it is explained that when interacting he manages messages that he hopes to grow in other people. Humans as actors who are playing a role. In the drama soap opera Ikatan Cinta is seen as a performance, the use of symbols to present a story. A performance of meaning and action is produced in a scene in a sociocultural context.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, therefore it has a special attachment that occurs with the Koran. As it is known that the Koran is the foundation of life for Muslims and cannot be separated from their lives throughout the world. So that in this case learning to read and write the Koran will continue to experience development and become a demand for educators and students to study it properly. This condition is no exception for the women of the taklim assembly, who are in the Al-Ihsan taklim assembly, Cibugel sub-district. One of the educators at the institution is an Islamic religious instructor. Since the emergence of the covid-19 virus, the recitation process has been carried out online via Whatsapp. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach and a constructivist paradigm. The results of this study indicate that the da'wah method used by Islamic religious instructors in conveying their da'wah to improve Al-Qur'an literacy through WhatsApp at the Al-Ihsan taklim assembly is by oral dakwah, namely conveying da'wah along with Al-Ihsan reading and writing guidance. the Qur'an directly orally or in writing sent to the WhatsApp group which consists of all members of the Al-Ihsan Taklim Assembly via the voice note feature or WhatsApp text message. The selection of WhatsApp media was considered by the ability to use the media of the women of the Al-Ihsan Taklim Assembly who generally have the application, they consider the use of WhatsApp media to be the easiest compared to other media. The features in the whatsapp media are also functional considering that the program aims to improve Al-Qur'an reading and writing skills, religious instructors utilize the voice note feature to send Al-Qur'an readings and image features to send Al-Qur'an writings and the congregation of the Al-Ihsan taklim assembly. Then in the process there are supporting factors, namely the existence of internal factors within the congregation of the taklim assembly, a high desire to learn as well as enthusiasm to continue carrying out recitation activities even though online through WhatsApp media even though at this time face-to-face recitations can be carried out again. While the inhibiting factor is the existence of internal factors that cause difficulties in learning to read and write the Qur'an, namely the feeling of laziness and shame that exists within the congregation.

Abstract

The Cireundeu indigenous people are a social system that has its own belief system, value system, system of norms and symbols. These four systems face the pressure of continuity and discontinuity when there is parochialization of Islamic traditions and modernity. The strong currents of parochialization have made the Cireundeu people more adaptive to Islamic culture at the symbolic level. This can be seen in the inclusion of Islam as a religion in their ID cards. On the other hand, they are still able to maintain and continue their beliefs, values ​​and norms. As for their attitude towards the parochialization of modernity, it turns out to be broader, except in religion. This research method is to use a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. The researcher analyzes and describes according to the events seen through observation and what is obtained through interviews and the documents obtained. Qualitative research to present a realistic picture of behavior or events, to answer questions and to help understand human behavior. The results of this study indicate that Kampung Cireundeu, which is located in the Cimahi area, Leuwi Gajah sub-district, South Cimahi sub-district, has two religions, namely Islam and belief (Sunda Wiwitan). These two religions live side by side, this has an impact on the development of da'wah in Cireundeu village. The graph of the development of da'wah in the Cireundeu traditional village continues to grow from year to year, although the development is still in terms of quantity, not quality. Cirendeu Traditional Village is a reconstruction of the traditional Sundanese way of life. If you pay close attention, you will find various uniqueness in Cirendeu Village. This starts from living with kokolot, Sundanese artists, until you will find mothers pounding rice in saung lisung, cooking with firewood in hawu, watching farmers grow crops, and learning traditional Sundanese arts and how to process cassava into a staple food. . Based on this, it cannot be denied that Kampung Cirendeu is an alternative tourist spot that provides various tourism options with the atmosphere of traditional Sundanese agrarian life. Based on these criteria, the Cimahi City Government made Kampung Cirendeu a cultural tourism destination.

Abstract

Morals are a reflection of an attitude in a person that has an important influence on various aspects of life, this is the reason why the cultivation of noble morals must be done from an early age. Prophetic parenting is considered the right method for mothers in the Al-Ihsan taklim assembly who act as madrasatul ula, to instill noble character in their children from an early age. This study aims to find out how the process of applying prophetic parenting to build noble character in the Al-Ihsan taklim assembly. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach and uses a persuasive paradigm. The results of this study indicate that the parenting method of prophetic communication carried out by mothers at the Al-Ihsan taklim assembly is applying simple things both verbally and nonverbally, namely daily activities carried out by children such as giving instructions, giving examples well, feeding, clothing, etc., which of course is based on the morals or behavior of the prophet Muhammad SAW. Parents are a good example for their children, so in giving any good instructions it is appropriate to set a good example or role model as well. One of the good instructions given by mothers at the Al-Ihsan Taklim assembly is to instill honesty. Furthermore, in communicating and giving good directions, the mothers in the Al-Ihsan taklim assembly chose the right time to give these instructions. Because choosing the right time is also one of the things that must be considered, because it also has an influence on the child's acceptance when instructions or directions are given.

Abstract

The reality of communication between adherents of different religions and ethnic Chinese and Javanese in Indonesia. This research was conducted to understand how social interaction between groups of different religions and ethnicities takes place in a heterogeneous society. This research method is descriptive in the form of a case study. A case study is a research that includes an assessment aimed at providing a detailed description of the background, nature and characteristics of a case, in other words, a case study focuses attention on a case intensively and in detail. The results of this study indicate that the reality of communication among adherents of different religions (Chinese and Serang Javanese Ethnicity) in Kasemen District, Banten Lama Region) is very good: (1) People who have awareness of the existence of similarities or equal differences, awareness of people who are aware that there is no ethnicity or religion that is higher and nobler but all are the same or equal, (3) Patterns of communication intercultural activities occur when deliberation activities and mutual cooperation activities are carried out in Kp. Pamarican which is used as a meeting place and carries out various activities in the environment, (3) Acculturation which appears in terms of the culture adopted but there is mixing with other cultures and does not leave their original culture, (4) Chinese Ethnicity and Serang Javanese Ethnicity need each other, just like the Avalokistevara Vihara needs workers of Serang Javanese ethnicity because Chinese ethnic workers are very minimal due to the migration of ethnic Chinese people out of town, as well as Serang Javanese people need jobs to fulfill their lives and (5) The practice of multiculturalism in Kp. In general, Pamarican is good in the daily practice of several Chinese informants when interacting with Javanese Serang residents. The multicultural nature of the people is able to create conditions and situations that are orderly, understand each other, respect each other and respect one another.
