Abstract

Elderly or commonly referred to as elderly is someone who has entered the final stages of the life phase. Elderly is an advanced stage of a life process characterized by a decrease in the body's ability to adapt to environmental stress. The aging process is characterized by visible and invisible physiological changes. In old age there are several problems faced by the elderly, namely, economic problems, social problems, health problems, psychosocial problems, and changes in interest in old age. The problem of interest and desire in the elderly is one of the most disturbing problems for themselves and those around them. Pastoral ministry takes a big place in supporting the existence of the elderly. Abstract

Community Engagement were carried out in Mopolo Village, Ranoyapo District, South Minahasa Regency. Some of the main problems in Mopolo Village are accessibility to the nearest health facilities, making it difficult to reach the existence of these facilities. This means that the people of Mopolo village do not receive enough health services. Apart from the problem of access to health facilities, the people of Mopolo village do not understand how important pastoral counseling services are to help them with aspects of spirituality. As a result of this community service activity, pastoral counseling was carried out accompanied by prayer and free health services provided by health workers from the Kawanua Nederland Ecumenical Church.
