Abstract

Penulis memfokuskan penelitian model mentoring terhadap pengembangan kecakapan kepemimpinan pekerja secara khusus pekerja di Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia (GKII) Daerah Pontianak. Di samping itu juga penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan teori-teori baru tentang model mentoring untuk pengembangan kecakapan kepemimpinan pekerja dan bahan acuan bagi para pemimpin gereja dalam mengembangkan pemimpin baru untuk meningkatkan pelayanan di Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia (GKII) Daerah Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, analisis korelasi, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi dua variabel, yaitu variabel model mentoring Robert Clinton dan pengembangan kecakapan kepemimpinan yang sangat signifikan.The author focuses the research on the mentoring model on developing workers’ leadership skills, specifically for workers in GKII in the Pontianak site. Besides, this research is also expected to be able to provide new theories about the mentoring model for the development of workers’ leadership skills and reference materials for church leaders in developing new leaders to improve service in GKII in Pontianak. This research is a quantitative study using multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed a correlation between two variables, namely Robert Clinton’s mentoring model variable and the development of essential leadership skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze a culture of Betangkant Children of the Keninjal Dayak tribe as an effort to contextualize the good news. The study of the meaning and cultural aspects of raising children in an effort to apply the gospel or good news in the context of the life of the Dayak Keninjal community. Through the culture of Betangkant Children in the Keninjal tribe, Madyaraya Village gives meaning and an entrance to evangelism for Dayak Keninjal to accept Jesus Christ as Savior in his life and figure of a Father who loves His Son. God created humans with creativity to be cultured, and with the framework of human culture looking at God and accepting God's self-revelation through filters and a framework that was intact in culture. Sustainability of God's covenant relationship with His people in all times and in all contexts. The culmination of this agreement is the Lord Jesus, who brought a new covenant to His people. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menganalisis sebuah budaya Betangkant Anak Dayak Keninjal sebagai upaya kontekstualisasi kabar baik. Pengkajian aspek arti dan nilai budaya mengangkat anak dalam upaya penerapan Injil atau kabar baik dalam kontek kehidupan masyarakat Dayak Keninjal. Melalui budaya Betangkant Anak di suku Keninjal, desa Madyaraya memberikan makna dan pintu masuk penginjilan bagi suka Dayak Keninjal untuk menerima Yesus Kristus sebagai Juruselamat dalam kehidupanya dan figure seorang Bapa yang mengasihi Anak-Nya. Allah menciptakan manusia dengan kreatifitas untuk berbudaya, dan dengan kerangka budaya manusia memandang Allah dan menerima penyataan diri Allah melalui filter dan kerangka yang utuh budaya. Keberlangsungan hubungan perjanjian Allah dengan umat-Nya di segala waktu dan segala konteks. Puncak dari perjanjian ini adalah Tuhan Yesus, yang membawa perjanjian baru bagi umat-Nya.

Abstract

This article examines the pastor's role as a religious leader in empowering the congregation's potential. Research for this article was conducted in GKII Gracia parish, Sintang. Qualitative method was utilized by the researchers, who interviewed the pastor, church committee members, and many members of the congregation. Data triangulation was used to obtain pertinent information from interview transcripts, and the results were then presented in a descriptive manner. Based on the collected data, these roles—which the pastor does in his capacity as a spiritual leader—were recognized as being essential to achieving church autonomy in GKII Gracia Sintang: 1) enlistment of the congregation in spiritual ministry to involve them according to their own abilities and potential, 2) optimization of external opportunities and utilization of internal potential to achieve good results, 3) mobilization of the congregation through encouraging and galvanizing them to participate in church ministry. In order to support these roles, particularly mobilization, training, pastoral visitation, and sermon delivery aimed at awakening the congregation to the importance of their participation were carried out.
