Abstract

Community activity in the waste bank program is very important in addition to increasing public awareness in protecting the environment but also influencing the level of community welfare. If the community does not actively participate in the Waste Bank program, waste processing will experience obstacles, and can cause environmental problems caused by waste such as floods that can interfere with daily activities. These obstacles can affect the level of community welfare. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of community activity in the Waste Bank program on the level of welfare. The research was carried out in Mulyasari Village, Tawang District, Tasikmalaya City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample size of 14 respondents. The results of the descriptive research show that there is a significant effect between the dependent variable on the independent variable. The conclusion generated is based on the results of the study that there is a positive and significant influence between community activities in the Waste Bank program on the level of community welfare. This is indicated by the value in the result of the sig value. ,000 < 0.05. This means that the higher community activity in the Waste Bank program, the level of community welfare will increase.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate barista performance training at We Coffee House Tasikmalaya using the Kirkpatrick model, which includes reaction, learning, behavior, and impact successful and can be resumed with several points of improvement in the future. Design/methodology: This research used a qualitative approach with purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at We Coffee House Tasikmalaya. The data were analyzed descriptively based on the four levels of the Kirkpatrick evaluation model. Findings: The reaction evaluation showed that participants were generally satisfied and happy with the training and mentoring process, although some facilities and the training schedule were considered inadequate. The learning evaluation indicated that participants improved in attitude, knowledge, and skills, making them more competent. The behavior evaluation showed that participants were able to apply the learned material in the workplace, although not yet optimally because further adaptation was needed, particularly in teamwork and discipline. The impact evaluation demonstrated that the training had a positive effect on employee work quality and contributed to company productivity and profit. Research limitations/Implications: Overall, the barista training at We Coffee House Tasikmalaya was fairly successful and produced positive outcomes at the reaction, learning, behavior, and impact levels. However, improvements are still needed in training facilities, scheduling, and follow-up support to enhance training effectiveness in the future. Novelty/Originality of the study: This study offers a novel application of the Kirkpatrick evaluation model in the context of barista training at a micro-scale coffee enterprise, providing a four-level assessment that links participant reaction, learning outcomes, workplace behavior, and organizational impact within a single evaluative framework.
