Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how to optimize the website in aqiqah services in Nurul Hayat Surabaya. This is because, now digital marketing, and e-commerce become one of the demands of technological advancements.In this study, researchers used qualitative descriptive research methods. This method is used to research in depth the optimization activities of the website in aqiqah services in Nurul Hayat Surabaya. Researchers use data collection techniques by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation. In this study, researchers have obtained the results that is. First, Aqiqah Nurul Hayat website applies the concept of userable. Thus, the type of website used is a commercial website with a simple, lightweight, and informative design. Second, Aqiqah Nurul Hayat uses survey methods to measure and know the effectiveness of the methods used. Third, Aqiqah Nurul Hayat prioritizes the use of SEO in the process of optimizing its website.

Abstract

This study explores the role of WhatsApp as a communication management tool in Hajj and Umrah travel agencies. The background of this research lies in the increasing reliance on digital communication platforms for religious tourism services, where effective communication is essential for ensuring smooth operations and building pilgrims’ trust. The objective of this study is to analyze how WhatsApp supports administrative processes, religious guidance, emergency handling, and marketing, while also identifying challenges faced in its implementation. Using a qualitative approach with interviews, observations, and documentation, the study provides comprehensive insights into communication practices. Results show that WhatsApp significantly enhances efficiency in disseminating information, strengthens relationships between agencies and pilgrims, and contributes to pilgrims’ satisfaction. However, issues such as information overload, the digital divide among elderly pilgrims, and privacy concerns remain challenges that require structured management. The study concludes that WhatsApp is not merely a messaging platform but a strategic communication tool that aligns with Media Richness Theory, Uses and Gratifications Theory, and Islamic business ethics. This research contributes to communication science by contextualizing digital media use in religious tourism and provides practical implications for improving service quality in Hajj and Umrah travel management.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of digitalizing financial management at TPQ Al-Ma’ruf, Jawik Village, Tambakrejo District, Bojonegoro. The digitalization of financial systems in Islamic educational institutions is an important step to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing operational funds. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with interviews as the primary data collection technique. The interviews were conducted with the head and treasurer of TPQ Al-Ma’ruf to understand the implementation of digital financial recording using Microsoft Excel. The results show that the digitalization process simplifies financial reporting, reduces errors, and increases trust among parents and donors. Although there are still limitations in terms of training and system development, the adoption of digital recording tools has proven effective in supporting financial transparency. This study highlights the importance of digital literacy for Islamic educational institutions in facing technological progress

Abstract

This study aims to describe the administrative system and administrativemanagement practices implemented at the Surabaya City National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Office. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Research data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving administrative staff and leadership elements who play a role in institutional administrative management. The results of the study indicate that the administrative system at the Surabaya City BAZNAS Office has been organized in a structured manner through recording, archiving, and document management mechanisms in accordance with applicable administrative management procedures. The use of information technology has begun to be integrated to support office administrative activities,although in practice there is still a reliance on manual systems and limited coordination and integration between departments. This study concludes that the administrative system at the Surabaya City BAZNAS Office has been running quite well, but still requires strengthening aspects of digital-based administrative management and improving internal coordination so that administrative implementation can be more effective and sustainable.
