Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to know the TGT implementation with quartet card media, (2) increase to students' social skills; (3) increase to learning social studies of grade VIIA students of SMPN 1 Kandaman. The subjects of the research was 36 grade VIIA students of SMPN1 Kandeman. The action is carried out from Juli to September 2016. The data collection techniques used were: (1) observation, (2) achievement test, and (3) documentation. The results (1) Learning with TGT quartet card media   can be implemented in Social Studies at Grade VIIA of SMPN1 Kandeman, there is an average increase of six stages TGT with quartet card media, in the first cycle, the score  is 68.75 (good) and in the second cycle, the score is 85.00 (very good) (2) There is an increase average for ten indicators of observance of students' social skills, in the first cycle, score is 48.37 (skilled enough) and the second cycle, the  score is 76.85 (very skilled). (3) There is an increasing mastery of students learning outcomes in social studies as shown in the first cycle 72.22%with had an average of 70.97and in the second cycle it became 88.89%which had an average of 85.00. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui implementasi TGT berbantuan media kartu kuartet, (2) meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik (3) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas VII A SMPN 1 Kandeman. Subjek penelitian adalah 36 Peserta Didik kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Kandeman pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Juli s.d September 2016. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: (1) observasi, (2) tes hasil belajar, dan (3) dokumentasi. Analisis data mengunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian (1) Pembelajaran dengan model TGT berbantuan media kartu kuartet dapat diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VII A di SMP N 1 Kandeman Batang, ada peningkatan rata-rata dari enam tahapan TGT, pada siklus 1 rerata 68,75 (baik) dan siklus II rerata 85,00 (sangat baik)  (2) Ada peningkatan rata-rata dari sepuluh  indikator amatan keterampilan sosial peserta didik, pada siklus I rerata skor 48,37 (cukup terampil) dan siklus II  rerata skor 76,85(sangat terampil). (3) Ada peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik, pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar 72,22% dengan rerata nilai 70,97, dan siklus II 88,89% dengan rerata nilai 85,00.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve: (1) The active participation of student learning, (2) the attitude of students towards learning social studies, (3) Complete results of social studies. Subjects of this study 40 eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Kandeman A Trunk academic year 2013 / 2014.Teknik data collection used were: observation, interview, questionnaire, achievement test, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis using quantitative analysis. The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is an average increase of eight observations activeness of student learning, in the first cycle mean score of 64.69 (high); second cycle mean score of 71.94 (high), the third cycle mean score of 84.50 (very high). (2) There is an increase in students' attitudes toward learning social studies, the mean value of the first cycle 68 (good), the average value of the second cycle 77 (good), and the mean value of the third cycle 85.75 (very good). (3) There is an increasing mastery IPS student learning outcomes, in the first cycle learning AJEL strategy, media, liveliness, and learning outcomes completeness 67.5% with a mean value of 74, the second cycle, 77.5% with a mean value of 78, the third cycle of 85% with a mean value of 83.65. By usin three different media in each cycle there are three prominent increase in activity in the ranking are: pay attention to the material, noting the results of the discussion, and the spirit in the move. Abstract

This research aims to: (1) know the implementation of Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Assisted by Card 4-1,  (2) improve student social skills (3) increase social sciences learning outcome of IX F graders at SMPN 1 Kandeman Batang with the implementation of TGT Assisted by Card 4-1.This is a class action research using the spiral design of Kemmis & Taggart. Research subject is 37 students of IX F graders of SMP Negeri 1 Kandeman Batang in genap semester academic year of 2014/2015. There are 2 cycles in this research, each of which consists of two meetings. Each cycle uses 4 stages, they are: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The action in cycle 1 uses card          4-1 with the materials of geographical elements and population in South East Asia. Cycle 2 uses card 4-1 with the material of earth surface division as continent and ocean. The research is conducted from January to March 2015. Data collecting technique used in this research is: (1) observation, (2) interview, (3) learning outcome test, (4) documentation, and (5)field note. The instrument used is (1) observation guidance for teacher and students, (2) interview guidance for students, (3) exercise sheet for learning outcome test, and (4) daily journal. Data analysiss uses qualitative analysis. The results of the research are: (1) The cooperative TGT Assisted by Card 4-1 learning model can be implemented in social sciences learning of IX F graders at SMP N 1 Kandeman Batang, there is average increase from 6 cycles of TGT, the average score of cycle I is 68,75 (good) and cycle II is 85 (very good) (2) there is average increase of 10 indicators of student social skills, the average score of cycle I is 51,30 (skilled), cycle II is 76,80 (hihgly skilled). (3) there is an increase in the result of students' social sciences learning, learning mastery at cycle I is 72,97% with the average score of 74,86, cycle II is 86,49% with the average value of 85. With the implementation of Teams Games Tournament Assisted by Card 4-1 in each cycle, there is a significant increase in social skills, that is, giving opinion on some topic being discussed, giving opinion with the language that can be understood by other students, giving opinion well and politely, giving opinion in solving group problems, accepting other member's opinion as long as relevant with the topic being discussed, keep the peace of group forming. Thus, the implementation of Teams Games Tournament Assisted by Card 4-1 in social sciences learning can comprehensively increase student learning outcome.

Abstract

The teacher has an important role in the implementation of learning. Especially in masterring the characteristics of each students. Therefore teachers must be able to master pedagogical competencies to develop social skills especially in students with special needs in inclusive schools. The reseach method used is a qualitative method. The results showed that (1) Social studies teachers have implemented pedagogic science well so that they can develop social skills of students with special needs (2) Supporting factors for the development of social sskills of children with special needs is the availability of shadow teacher, school collaboration with parents, and facilities and infrastucture (3) Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for the development of social skills stem from love self-confidence of students with special needs themselves. Guru mempunyai peran penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran terutama penguasaan terhadap karakteristik setiap peserta didik. Oleh karena itu guru harus dapat menguasai kompetensi pedagogik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosial terutama pada peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah inklusi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Guru IPS telah mengimplementasikan ilmu pedagogik dengan baik sehingga dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dari peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus (2) Faktor pendorong pengembangan keterampilan sosial anak berkebutuhan khusus yaitu dengan ketersediaan guru pendamping khusus, kerjasama sekolah dengan orangtua serta sarana dan prasarana (3) Sedangkan, faktor penghambat pengembangan keterampilan sosial berasal dari rasa kepercayaan diri yang rendah dari peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus sendiri dan kurangnya pelatihan pembelajaran kelas inklusi untuk guru mata pelajaran.
