Abstract

                                                  ABSTRAKABSTRAK, Penelitian ini bertujuan mengambarkan kinerja humas Dinas perhubungan Aceh melalui peran humas (public relations) dalam memanfaatkan dan mengelola sosial media instagram sebagai media komunikasi. Landasan teoritis penelitian menggunakan 4 katagori peran humas menurut Dozier Broom. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pemilihan informan melalui Teknik nonprobality sampling, melalui pendekatan purposive sampling (sampel bertujuan) terhadap 6 informan. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui analisis interaktif  Miles Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian, kinerja Humas Dinas Perhubungan Aceh dalam memanfaatkan sosial media instrgaram adalah melalui fitur-fitur social media Instagram guna proses penyampaian pesan terkait publikasi dan interaksi. Pengelolaan sosial media terlaksana melalui empat element fungsi yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pergerakan dan pengawasan dilaksanakan oleh tim innovation center room (ICR) melalui subbagian program, informasi dan hubungan masyarakat. Maka melalui 4 katagori peran humas menurut Dozier Broom, Dinas Perhubungan Aceh menjalankan peran sebagai penasehat ahli yaitu membantu mencarikan solusi permasalahan hubungan Lembaga dengan public melalui sekertaris dinas. Kemudian peran sebagai fasilitator komunikasi, lembaga menghadirkan admin sosial media yang responsive, terkait pertukaran pesan/arus informasi serta komunikasi Lembaga dapat berjalan secara komunikasi dua arah. Peran sebagai pemecah masalah adalah proses pengambilan Tindakan dalam menghadapi situasi krisis kelembagaan yang menyangkut citra dan reputasi Lembaga dapat terlaksana secara terstruktur dan konkuren. Peran sebagai teknisi komunikasi yaitu proses memperoleh, mengelola, mengolah serta mempublikasi informasi melalui postingan rutin social media kelembagaan. ABSTRACKThis study aims to describe the public relations performance of the Aceh Transportation Agency through the role of public relations in utilizing and managing Instagram social media as a communication medium. The theoretical basis of the research uses 4 categories of public relations roles according to Dozier Broom. The research approach is qualitative with descriptive type. Informant selection technique through nonprobality sampling technique, through purposive sampling approach to 6 informants. Data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through Miles Huberman interactive analysis which includes data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study, the performance of the Public Relations of the Aceh Transportation Agency in utilizing instrgaram social media is through Instagram social media features for the process of delivering messages related to publications and interactions. Social media management is carried out through four functional elements, namely planning, organizing, movement and supervision carried out by the innovation center room (ICR) team through the program, information and public relations subsections. So through 4 categories of public relations roles according to Dozier Broom, the Aceh Transportation Agency carries out the role of an expert advisor, namely helping to find solutions to problems in institutional relations with the public through the secretary of the agency. Then the role as a communication facilitator, the institution presents a responsive social media admin, related to the exchange of messages / information flow and communication The institution can run in two-way communication. The role as a problem solver is the process of taking action in dealing with institutional crisis situations that concern the image and reputation of the institution can be carried out in a structured and concurrent manner. The role as a communication technician is the process of obtaining, managing, processing and publishing information through routine institutional social media posts.
