Abstract

Tujuan pembersihan tanki kampal adalah untuk membuang kotoran atau sisa endapan yang tidaktersedot oleh pompa pemindah. Pekerjaan ini beresiko tinggi diantaranya adalah bahaya keracunan,pekerja terjatuh karena medan kerja licinTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui jenis usaha baru yang dapat dikembangkan di PulauBatam sehingga dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja baru dengan memperhatikan prosedur pembersihankapal.Jasa pembersihan tanki kapal tanker yang biasa disebut Tank Cleaning menggunakan cara LowTechnology dan padat karya sehingga dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat. Selain itu jugaproses recycling juga sangat membantu dan bermanfaat.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jasa pembersihan tanki kapal tanker ini memberikankeuntungan finansial sebagai pemasukan devisa negara, peningkatan pendapatan bagi masyarakat dandapat mengentaskan kemiskinan. Namun disisi lain, adanya limbah berbahaya yang dapat menggangguekosistem lingkungan hidup sehingga perlu penanganan yang baik agar tidak berdampak buruk terhadaplingkungan.Kata kunci :Low technology, pembersihan tanki kapal tanker, lingkungan hidup

Abstract

The result of observation at Science Laboratory of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta shows that the power capacity of power bank fitted with recycled laptop batteries was not tested. Power bank test was conducted by preparing used laptop batteries type 18650 from its packaging for a total of five cells, selecting batteries based on their physical appearance, cleaning the pole connections, testing the voltage, testing temperature when power charging from electric outlet to power bank, testing the power drain, testing the power capacity without load, charging in the case, testing the module when power charging from electric outlet to power bank, testing the power capacity level indicator, testing power charging from power bank to recharged device, installing the power bank analyzer, and recording voltage measurement results, electric current flowing, duration of time needed to charge, and power capacity left after charging. The electric load used was a 1.2 watt LED lamp. After that, the calculation of battery power capacity was conducted, in accordance with the technical specification listed in the power, then compared to the result of test of power capacity stored in recycled power bank. Based on the result of technical specification calculation, the power bank produced had a power capacity of 50.000 watt hours. Meanwhile, in the experiment with LED lamp electric load, the power bank had a power capacity of 44.6756 watt hours. The comparison of power capacity between the technical specification and the experiment shows that the recycled power bank had performance of 89.4%. Thus, recycled power bank met the requirement of feasibility to be learning media of physics project.

Abstract

atur kemajuan (advance organizer) berbasis proyek. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak. Pada kelas  eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran advance organizer berbasis proyek sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diterapkan pembelajaran langsung (direct instruction) tanpa advance organizer. Sebelum pembelajaran di kelas, siswa eksperimen dikelompokkan menjadi 8 kelompok yang terdiri atas 4 – 5 siswa. Setiap kelompok ditugaskan untuk merealisasikan proyek bel listrik, rangkaian arus seri – paralel, dan tuas. Produk proyek digunakan dalam pembelajaran dikelas sebagai advance organizer. Data diperoleh melalui observasi partisipatif, penilaian produk, peta konsep, laporan eksperimen, dan angket. Instrumen motivasi menggunakan skala motivasi ARCS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki tingkat motivasi lebih baik dalam aspek perhatian, relevansi, kepercayaan diri, dan kepuasan pembelajaran dengan rata – rata tingkat motivasi sebesar 77,20, sedangkan tanpa advance organizer berbasis proyek sebesar 71,10. Disarankan siswa diberikan kemandirian penuh dalam proyek. This study was conducted to analyze the level of student motivation in learning science through models of advance organizer  based project . Samples were selected at random . In the experimental class advance organizer applied learning model based on a class project while learning control direct instruction without advance organizer . Prior learning in the classroom , students are grouped into 8 experimental groups consisting of 4-5 students . Each group was assigned a project to realize an electric bell , the circuit current series - parallel , and lever . Products used in a learning class project as advance organizer . The data obtained through participant observation , assessment product , concept maps , experimental reports , and questionnaires . Motivation instrument using ARCS motivation scale . Results showed that the experimental class had better motivation level in aspects of attention , relevance , confidence , and satisfaction with the learning average - average motivation level of 77.20 , whereas without the advance organizer for project -based 71.10 . It is recommended students are given full independence in the project .
