Abstract

Abstract. Staining Plants Natural Silk Fabrics Using Fiksator Tawas, Tunjung and Kapur Tohor. Research is a research experiment aimed. Describe the color produced on silk fabric dyeing with natural dyes of rambutans, mango, avocado, Noni and ketapan using alum fiksator, fiksator quicklime, fiksator lotus, and without the fixation process. Research is first performed is the extraction process is the process of making pigment natural dyes to perform the extraction process is to boil the ingredients stems and leaves with water solvent is then filtered and chilled extract solution is ready for use before dyed, do Mordanting process that is intended for the absorption of natural dyes on silk material increases, as well as flatness and sharpness to produce good color Dyeing with natural dyes usually done by repeatedly and difikzer to get the color desirable. Doing fixation (fikser) is to lock the color natural silk fabric. The locking process colors (fixation) done so that natural dyes absorbed on silk material has good fastness. There are 3 types of fixer solution used is lotus (FeSO4), alum, or lime (CaCO3) .Warna produced in five plant species are Rambutans Nephelium Playantha the Ketepang Terminalis Catappa Young Brown Brown Creamy Avocado Mango Yellow Roystonea regia Persian americanadah Easy Red Noni Morinda citrifolia redAbstrak. Pewarnaan Tumbuhan Alami Kain Sutera dengan Menggunakan Fiksator Tawas, Tunjung dan Kapur Tohor. Penelitian adalah penelitian Eksprimen yang bertujuan. Mendeskripsikan warna yang dihasilkan pada pencelupan kain sutera dengan zat warna alami dari rambutan, mangga, alpukat, Mengkudu dan ketapang dengan menggunakan fiksator tawas, fiksator kapur tohor, fiksator tunjung, dan tanpa proses fiksasi. Hasil Penelitiam ini adalah Pertama yang dilakukan adalah proses ekstraksi yaitu proses pengambilan pigmen pewarna alami dengan melakukan proses ekstraksi yaitu dengan merebus bahan batang dan daun dengan pelarut air lalu disaring dan didnginkan larutan ekstrak ini siap digunakan sebelum dicelup, dilakukan proses Mordanting yaitu bertujuan agar penyerapan zat warna alam terhadap bahan sutera meningkat, serta menghasilkan kerataan dan ketajaman warna yang baik Pencelupan dengan zat warna alam biasanya dilakukan dengan berulang-ulang dan difikzer untuk mendapatkan warna yang diinginkan.Melakukan fiksasi (fikser) adalah untuk mengunci warna alam pada kain sutera.  Proses pengunci warna (fiksasi) dilakukan agar zat warna alam yang terserap pada bahan sutera  memiliki ketahanan luntur yang baik. Ada 3 jenis larutan fixer yang  digunakan yaitu tunjung (FeSO4), tawas, atau kapur tohor (CaCO3).Warna yang dihasilkan pada kelima jenis tumbuhan tersebut adalah Rambutan Nephelium Playantha Coklat Muda Ketepang Terminalis Catappa Coklat Krem Mangga Roystonea regia Kuning Alpukat Persia americanadah Merah Mudah Mengkudu Morinda citrifolia Merah.Kata Kunci: pewarna alam tumbuhan, sutera,  ektrak,  mordanting,  fiksasi

Abstract

This study is a survey research that aims to determine the extent of absorption graduates of vocational areas of expertise of fashion in DU / DI clothing and relevance of soft skills and hard skills of labor graduates of vocational expertise of fashion with the needs of the DU / DI clothing in the city of Makassar in employment . The population in this study were all DU/DI workers in the field of fashion in Makassar City, totaling 406 workers. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, namely sampling based on certain criteria consisting of 43 respondents from 15 DU/DI in the field of fashion. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and interviews obtained through primary data and secondary data. The analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis and percentage calculations. The results showed that the level of absorption of Vocational High School graduates in the Fashion Designfashionin Makassar City was still in the very low category, namely 11% or 43 of the 406 workers absorbed in the fashionExpertise in theindustryindustry . fashion is in the category is as high as 81%, hardskill labordressmaking vocational graduates are in very high category by 39%.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative study that aims to determine: 1) the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes of fashion skills; 2) the influence of independent learning on learning outcomes of fashion skills; 3) the influence of learning motivation and learningindependence on learning outcomes of special school fashion skills. The samples in this study were students of class XII Special Schools (SLB) in Makassar City, namely SLB Negeri 1 Makassar, SLB-B YPPLB Makassar and SLB YPAC Makassar a total of 24 students. Research data obtained through documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis with regression analysis. The results of the study show that 1) learning motivation has a significant effect on learning outcomes for fashion skills with an R Square value of 16.9%. 2) learning independence has a significant effect on learning outcomesof fashion skills with an R Square value of 16.3%. 3) learning motivation and learning independence together have a significant effect on learning outcomes of fashion skills with an R Square value of 26.4% and have the influence of other variables of 73.6% influenced by other factors outside this study.
