Abstract

The swift flow of globalization has led to increasingly eroded Indonesian local cultural values. This has caused a shift in neglected cultural values and local wisdom. Therefore, an approach is needed, namely ethnoscience in the learning process. This study purposed to determine whether The Elementary School of Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari has applied ethnoscience in science learning and describe the implementation of ethnoscience based on science learning in The Elementary School of Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari. The method used was descriptive qualitative research design. The results of the study showed that the planning of science learning based on ethnoscience approach in This School was still unplanned, but the school had unconsciously implemented ethnoscience approach. The implementation of science based on ethnoscience learning was by integrating between the material with the environment, culture, and social in the environment. Evaluation of the implementation of ethnoscience based on science learning included cognitive, affective, and psychomotor evaluation in accordance with evaluation standards in the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits of music therapy intervention on pain experienced by children treated in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The method used is through searching for articles adapted to the formulation of research questions using the PICO formula in the EMBASE, Clinicalkey for Nursing, Proquest, ScienceDirect, Springer Link, Pubmed, and Scopus databases. The research results showed that music therapy for children treated in the PICU varied, including live music therapy, recorded music therapy, music therapy and hand massage, and music and video therapy. In conclusion, intervention through music therapy has proven to be effective in reducing pain, increasing comfort, and stabilizing children's hemodynamics. Abstract

Literasi numerasi merupakan kompetensi esensial yang memungkinkan siswa mengaplikasikan konsep matematika dalam beragam konteks kehidupan. Akan tetapi, masih banyak siswa mengalami kendala dalam mengerjakan soal yang memerlukan pemahaman konsep mendalam dan penalaran tingkat tinggi, seperti soal HOTS. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa kelas V ketika memecahkan soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada materi pecahan di SDN Cibodas 8 Kota Tangerang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa kelas V SDN Cibodas 8 Kota Tangerang. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tulis berupa soal HOTS materi pecahan dan wawancara mendalam. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada materi pecahan. Nilai rata-rata kelas tercatat sebesar 52, dengan hanya 3 siswa (30%) yang tuntas, sedangkan 7 siswa lainnya (70%) belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan.
