Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education through the snowball throwing method for junior high school students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in each learning cycle consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques included observation sheets, worksheets and documentation. From the results of data analysis for two cycles showed that out of17 students: there was an increase in student learning outcomes based on cycle I the averagestudent score was 64.11 with classical completeness 41.18%. Then after improving learning cycle II, the average student score increased to 80.59 with classical completeness of 88.23% or an increase in the average student score of 16.48 with an increase in classical completeness of 47.05%. Based on the discussion of research results and data analysis, it can be concluded that there was an increase in learning outcomes and students' understanding also increased after the application of the snowball throwing learning method.

Abstract

The background of this research is that children are not yet able to be polite to fellow friends. Thepurpose of this study was to improve the moral and religious abilities of children through thedemonstration method at Mutiara Bunda Kindergarten in Palung Raya for the 2022 academic year. This research was conducted on Wednesday mornings from 07.35 to 11.00 on October 12 2022. This research included classroom action research (PTK) carried out in 2 cycles, which consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting on the body. As the subject of this study were the children of Mutiara Bunda Kindergarten, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. Data collection techniques used observation and assignments in core activities, in order to obtain information about the activeness of children in participating in the teaching and learning process. The results of research on children's morals and religion through the demonstration method at Mutiara Bunda Kindergarten, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, can be improved using the demonstration method. Improving moral and religious abilities using the demonstration method in cycle I and cycle II developed very well. This is illustrated by the results of observations on moral and religious abilities in children. The first cycle of research and discussion results obtained children who were able to develop well and easily understand the material given by 55% and the second cycle developed very well and experienced an increase in morals and religion through demonstration methods, and cards or equal to 77%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of juvenile delinquency which refers to behavior in the form of deviations or violations of applicable rules or norms, be it social, religious, or legal norms. The objective of this research is to the role of Islamic religious education teachers in tackling student delinquency. The research subjects were teachers of SMP N 8 Pekanbaru. Research method in this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach, which is a research procedure based on descriptive data. Theresults of this study PAI teachers convey knowledge and shape the personality and morals of students. Apart from acting as a teacher and parent of students at school, the teacher also motivates students through religious activities held at school, such as Islamic holiday celebrations, Annisa forum, Arijjal forum, BTQ, Hafiz Qur'an, and Muhadarah. Factors driving students to misbehave are the influence ofpeers who invite them to deviate, an unhealthy social environment, and no support from parents and teachers who often scold students in public.
