Abstract

Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) implementasi model quantum learning, (2) respons siswa terhadap pengimplementasian model quantum learning, dan (3) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan model quantum learning dalam pembelajaran menulis deskripsi di kelas X SMKN 1 Abang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa di kelas X SMKN 1 Abang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, pencatatan dokumen, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) guru mengimplementasikan model quantum learning dengan beberapa tahap, yaitu tumbuhkan, alami, namai, demonstrasikan, ulangi, dan rayakan. Guru sudah mengimplementasikan quantum learning dengan baik sesuai prosedur. (2) 96% siswa kelas X AK.1 merespons positif dan sebanyak 81% siswa kelas X TKJ.1 juga merespons positif pengimplementasian model quantum learning. (3) 17,3% guru menghadapi kendala perbedaan konsep belajar, kesiapan belajar siswa 19,3%, perbedaan kecerdasan siswa 23,1%, perbedaan kebutuhan dan tujuan siswa 13,5%, dan sikap atau kebiasaan siswa yang salah 25%. The design of this study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive design that aimed to describe (1) the implementation of quantum learning model, (2) students responses to the implementation of the quantum learning model, and (3) the constraints faced by teachers in implementing quantum learning model in description writing learning in class X SMKN 1 Abang. The subjects were teachers and students in class X SMKN 1 Abang. Data collection method used is the observation method, recording of documents, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that (1) the teacher implements a quantum learning model with several stages, namely growing, natural, naming, demonstrating, repeating, and celebrating. The teacher has implemented quantum learning properly according to the procedure. (2) 96% of class X AK.1 students responded positively and 81% of class X TKJ.1 students also responded positively to the implementation of the quantum learning model. (3) 17.3% of teachers faced constraints on differences in learning concepts, students' readiness for learning 19.3%, differences in student intelligence 23.1%, differences in students' needs and goals 13.5%, and students' attitudes or habits that were wrong 25%.
