Abstract

Bili-bili dam is the largest dam in South Sulawesi and is located in Gowa Regency. This study aims to analyze the diversity of macrozoobenthos in freshwater waters in the Bili-bili Reservoir, Gowa Regency and evaluate the water quality in the Bili-bili Reservoir in accordance with the water quality standards requirements of PP RI Number 82 of 2001 concerning Water Quality Management and Water Pollution Control. This research was conducted in March – April 2021, carried out in the village of Bili-Bili, Gowa Regency and sampling was carried out at three stations with ex situ and in situ methods. The data analysis technique used in this research is the diversity index, uniformity index and dominance index. The results showed that the macrozoobenthic diversity index value ranged from 2.04 - 2.22 and was classified in the medium category, the macrozoobenthos uniformity index ranged from 0.94 - 0.97 and belonged to the high category and the macrozoobenthos dominance index ranged from 0.12 - 0. ,14 and belongs to the low category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of water quality parameters in the Bili-bili Reservoir, Gowa Regency, show that it is still at the threshold of class I - IV water quality standards when compared with the requirements of water quality standards based on PP NO. 82 of 2001 where the temperature parameters ranged from 28oC - 29oC, pH ranged from 7.4 - 7.7 and DO ranged from 6.89 - 6.94. Bendungan Bili-bili adalah bendungan terbesar yang terdapat di Sulawesi-Selatan serta terletak di Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keanekaragaman makrozoobentos di perairan air tawar di Waduk Bili-bili Kabupaten Gowa dan  untuk mengetahui kualitas air di Waduk Bili-bili apakah sesuai dengan syarat baku mutu air PP RI Nomor 82 Tahun 2001 Tentang Pengelolaan  Kualitas  Air dan Pengendalian Pencemaran Air. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan maret – april 2021, dilakukan di desa bili-bili kabupaten gowa dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada tiga stasiun dengan metode ex situ dan in situ. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman dan indeks dominansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman makrozoobentos berkisar antara 2,04 - 2,22 dan tergolong dalam kategori sedang, indeks keseragaman makrozoobentos berkisar antara 0,94 - 0,97 dan tergolong pada kategori tinggi serta indeks dominansi makrozoobentos berkisar antara 0,12 - 0,14 dan tergolong dalam kategori rendah. Selanjutnya, hasil analisis parameter kualitas air yang terdapat di Waduk Bili-bili Kabupaten Gowa menunjukkan masih pada ambang batas baku mutu air kelas I - IV Bila dibandingkan dengan syarat standar mutu air berdasarkan PP NO. 82 tahun 2001 dimana parameter suhu berkisar antara 28oC - 29oC, pH berkisar antara 7,4 - 7,7 dan  DO berkisar antara 6,89 - 6,94.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of adding coffee fruit skin extract on the quality and functional properties of the instant cendol produced. This research consisted of two stages, namely coffee husk extraction using 70% ethanol and instant cendol formulation with 5 treatments adding a concentration of coffee husk extract, namely 0%, 3%, 4%, 5% and 6%. The observation parameters consist of rehydration time, chemical and microbiological quality, functional properties, and hedonic quality. This research used a Completely Randomized Design which was analyzed using the IBM SPSS application. The results showed that the concentration of added coffee fruit skin extract had a positive influence on the microbiological quality and functional properties of the instant cendol produced, but had no effect on the rehydration time, water content and hedonic quality of the instant cendol. The microbiological quality and functional properties of instant cendol treated with the addition of coffee fruit rind extract were better compared to the control treatment. The best instant cendol is produced from the addition of 6% coffee fruit skin extract. This formulation has a rehydration time and water content that meets standards, a microbial content of 5.1 Log colonies/ml, a caffeine content of 0.15%, anthocyanin content of 1.032%, a polyphenol content of 12.44%, and an antioxidant content of 17.99%. The resulting instant cendol also received good reception from the panelists.
