Abstract

The background of this research study is because of the low student learning outcomes, especially on the material types of work. This can be seen from the number of students who do not understand the material types of work. Many of the students are still confused about the type of work that produces goods and services. In fact, many of the students get low grades. Seeing this, the researchers tried to provide solutions to the student's problems by using the concept mapping method on the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students regarding the types of work. This research is an experimental quantitative study with a posttest-only control design.This study used two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class with different treatments. This study aims to determine the effect of using the concept mapping method on the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students regarding the types of work. The number of students in this study were all fourth grade students consisting of two classes, namely class IV B as the experimental class, totaling 29 students and class IV A as the control class, totaling 31 students, the total population was 60 students.The results of research using the concept mapping method on student learning outcomes in the subject of types of work indicate a change in the average score of students. The average score of the students in the experimental class given the concept mapping method was higher than the average score for the control class given the lecture treatment. This shows that the concept mapping method has an effect on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Teachers have a very important role in the process of student development at school, one of which is in the teaching and learning process of children. The role of the teacher, apart from being a parent in the school, should also pay attention to the growth and development of students by providing direct guidance to students. One of the guidance that can be done by a teacher to improve student development is spiritual guidance. Spiritual guidance is needed for all students, so that students cannot understand God's word, the best spiritual lesson is a demonstration of life. When the disciples understand God's words, they will understand how to act in their lives, to do good things and stay away from bad things. That is the function of spiritual guidance to students at school. How important it is to cultivate an attitude of mutual love among themselves and an attitude to fear God, this is the most important thing in conducting spiritual guidance to students at school. It is at this time that the task of a teacher is important to be an example and guide for students so that students do not lose the image of God in the life they are living.Abstrak: Guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam proses perkembangan murid di sekolah, salah satunya adalah dalam proses belajar mengajar anak. Peran guru selain sebagai orang tua dalam sekolah, juga patut memperhatikan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan murid dengan memberikan bimbingan secara langsung kepada murid. Salah satu bimbingan yang dapat dilakukan oleh seorang guru untuk meningkatkan perkembangan murid adalah bimbingan rohani. Bimbingan rohani diperlukan bagi semua murid, agar para murid dapat mengerti tentang firman Tuhan, bimbingan rohani yang terbaik adalah suatu demonstrasi mengenai sebuah kehidupan. Disaat para murid mengerti arti sebuah kehidupan dan menerapkan firman Tuhan dalam hidup mereka, maka mereka akan mengerti bagaimana bertindak dalam kehidupan mereka, untuk melakukan hal yang baik dan menjauhi hal yang tidak baik. Itulah fungsi dari bimbingan kerohanian pada murid-murid di sekolah. Bagaimana pentingnya menumbuhkan sikap saling mengasihi antar sesama mereka dan sikap untuk takut akan Tuhan, hal inilah yang paling penting dalam melakukan bimbingan rohani kepada murid-murid di sekolah. Disaat inilah tugas seorang guru penting untuk menjadi teladan dan pembimbing bagi para murid sehingga para murid tidak kehilangan gambar Allah dalam hidupnya yang sedang mereka jalani.
