Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-learning berbasis pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan Articulate Storyline pada materi kesetimbangan benda tegar. Penelitian dilakukan kepada peserta didik kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dilakukan hanya sampai tahap Design karena belum adanya data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan kepada 48 peserta didik SMAN 16 Jakarta pada Desember 2021, didapatkan bahwa 60,4% mengalami kesulitan memahami materi fisika, 70,8% menyatakan dalam penyampaian tiap materi, disertai gambar dan animasi, 75% menyukai teknik audio visual, dan 62,5% tidak mengetahui media pembelajaran berbasis Articulate Storyline. Hasil wawancara terhadap guru fisika SMAN 16 Jakarta, menyatakan materi fisika yang sulit yaitu kesetimbangan benda tegar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang dapat menampilkan audio visual agar menarik dan tidak membosankan bagi siswa salah satunya e-learning berbantuan articulate storyline. Articulate storyline sangat dikenal cocok digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan mudah digunakan. Selain itu e-learning berbantuan articulate storyline dilengkapi dengan pendekatan kontekstual melalui langkah-langkah pembelajaran yaitu constructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning community, reflection, dan authentics assessment. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan pengembangan e-learning berbasis pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan articulate storyline untuk pada materi kesetimbangan benda tegar untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran fisika yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa. The study was conducted on learners of class XI. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which is carried out only to the Design stage because there is no data. Based on the results of the needs analysis conducted on 48 students of SMAN 16 Jakarta in December 2021, it was found that 60.4% had difficulty understanding physics material, 70.8% stated in the delivery of each material, accompanied by images and animations, 75% liked audio-visual techniques, and 62.5% did not know articulate Storyline-based learning media. The results of an interview with a physics teacher at SMAN 16 Jakarta, stated that the difficult physics material is the equilibrium of rigid objects. Based on this, learning media is needed that can display audio-visual so that it is interesting and not boring for students, one of which is e-learning assisted by articulate storylines. The articulate storyline is very well known to be suitable for use as a learning medium and is easy to use. In addition, articulate storyline-assisted e-learning is equipped with a contextual approach through learning steps, namely constructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning community, reflection, and authentic assessment. Therefore, researchers develop e-learning based on a contextual approach assisted by articulate storylines on the equilibrium material of rigid objects to produce physics learning media that can be used by students.
