<![CDATA[Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Mitra adalah warga Komplek Bumi Cahaya Bintang RT/RW. 47/08 di Kelurahan Sungai Besar, Kecamatan Banjarbaru Selatan, Kota Banjarbaru, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Jumlah peserta mitra 25 orang dengan usia minimal 18 Tahun. Tanggal pelaksanaan adalah 10 Agustus 2022. Masalah mitra adalah kecenderungan mitra sebagai konstituen/pemilih pada pemilihan umum yang telah dilakukan tergolong kurang partisipatif. Berdasarkan permasalahan mitra, metode untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut adalah metode penyuluhan partisipasi politik masyarakat dalam kegiatan pemilihan Kepala Daerah. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya masyarakat yang memahami makna partisipasi politik, urgensi partisipasi politik masyarakat, korelasi antara partisipasi politik masyarakat dengan kualitas proses dan hasil pemilihan kepala daerah, dan bentuk-bentuk partisipasi politik. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah program peningkatan partisipasi politik dalam pemilihan kepala daerah merupakan program yang perlu untuk dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kualitas politik di daerah.This program aims to increase political participation in improving the quality of regional head elections in South Kalimantan Province. The result of this activity is forming a society that understands the meaning of political participation, the urgency of community political participation, the correlation between community political participation and the quality of the process and results of regional head elections, and forms of political participation. This activity concludes that the program of increasing political participation in regional head elections is a program that needs to be carried out to improve the quality of politics in the regions.]]>
