Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Return On Asset (ROA), Firm Size and Growth Opportunity to the Deviden Payout Ratio (DPR) on companies listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) for the period 2010 to 2014. The sampling technique used is pusposive sampling and the number of samples used for as many as 26 companies. Data obtained from the publication of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX ) 2010 – 2014. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the DER and CR have no significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio. While the ROA and Firm Size has a significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio with a positive direction. Meanwhile, the growth opportunity has a significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio with the negative direction. From Adjusted R Square value of 0.603 indicates that there are independent variables in the model can explain the variation the DPR by 60,3%, while 39,7% variation explained by the Dividend Payout Ratio of other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing, Non Performing Financing (NPF), dan BOPO to profitability proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) in Islamic Banks in Indonesia 2010-2015 . The data used in this study were obtained from the Semester Financial Report for the 2010-2015 term Islamic Banks. The population in this study were 12 Islamic Banks in Indonesia. The selection of the sample using purposive sampling technique. After passing through purposive sampling stage, there are 3 samples Islamic Banks decent used namely Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Syariah Mandiri, and Bank Bukopin Syariah. The analysis technique used in this study using multiple linear regression with the purpose to obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship between variables. While the classical assumption used this research include multicolinearity, autocorrelation test, homoskedastisitas test, and test for normality. The results showed that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) have a negative and significant effect on ROA Islamic Banks. Financing variable positive and significant impact on ROA Islamic Banks. While NPF and BOPO have a negative and significant effect on ROA Islamic Banks. Predictive ability of the four variables on ROA of 96.1%, while the rest is not influenced by other factors included in the research model. The result is expected to be a guideline for the management of Islamic Banks in managing the company.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Risk Based Bank Rating to theprofitability of general bank go public listed in the indonesia Stock Exchange. RBBR is the newest assessment that replaced CAMEL from Bank Indonesia, in accordance with Bank Indonesia Circular Letter Number 13/24/DPNP/2011. Factors tested are CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), NIM (Net Interest Margin), GCG (Good Corporate Governance), LDR (Loan Deposit Ratio), NPL (Non Performing Loan), and NOP (Net Open Position) towards ROA (Return On Asset).The sample of this study using purposive sampling method, with the number of sample used were 22 general banks go public listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the  periode  2008-2013.  Analysis  technique  used  in  this  study  is  a  multiple  linear regression. The result of F test stated that the value of significance is 0,00 means this value indicates that the independent variables impacts the dependent variable significantly. Meanwhile the result of t test showed that NIM has positive and significant effect on the ROA. CAR, LDR, NPL have a negative and significant effect on the ROA. The last is NOP didn’t have a significant effect on the ROA.The result of this analysis showed about 53,2% from the adjusted R2 that ROA can be explained by CAR, NIM, GCG, LDR, NPL, and NOP. The rest 46,8% influenced by other variables outside the model.
