Abstract

One of the assets of the nation or state is children who are physically and mentally healthy, because it is in their hands that the fate of this nation will be determined. Likewise with the social environment which is a community environment, this community environment has individual interactions with other individuals. So that the state of society will have a certain influence on individual development. Bendo Village, Nogosari District, Boyolali Regency with a population of 60,745. people, where most of their livelihoods are farmers, then the number of toddlers is 82 people and mothers of toddlers are 68 people. Thus, the community really needs an understanding of Posyandu activities and psychological counseling for mothers and toddlers about the importance of understanding children's behavior. This is the background in community service activities in Bendo village, Nogosari sub-district, Boyolali district, Central Java. Results that have been felt by the community; understand child behavior. Children under five years old (toddlers) are a period of formation of the basic human personality, sensing abilities, thinking, language and speaking skills, social behavior and so on. Parents can understand that the most prominent development is motor skills, because motor development is closely related to physical activities.

Abstract

Empowerment is a process that requires thorough planning, careful thought about monitoring mechanisms, and continuous improvement. This journal aims to determine the economic conditions of the community, processing crops, and empowering them. The research location is in Kembanglimus village, Borobudur sub-district, Magelang district with the subjects of PKK mothers and young women. The results obtained are as follows: Descriptively, community economic empowerment through food processing in Kembanglimus is still not in accordance with the government's target (which is expected). Agricultural/ plantation crops are only sold cheaply, they cannot even improve the community's economy. The obstacles faced in empowering the community's economy through processed papaya fruit are the low level of education, low willingness, lack of human resources and limited capital. Efforts made by the government are to expand business opportunities to improve the community's economy by providing opportunities in the field of skills through training and motivating PKK mothers and young women in the village of Kembanglimus through crop processing training that can open entrepreneurship and increase selling value.

Abstract

Kesehatan masyarakat sebagai ilmu dan seni mencegah penyakit, memperpanjang hidup, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup dengan melakukan upaya-upayaterorganisasi dan memberi pilihan informasi kepada masyarakat, organisasi, komunikasi, dan individu. Tujuan pembangunan nasional adalah pembangunan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya. Yaitu pembangunan manusia Indonesia baik secara lahir maupun batin, pembangunan manusia pada dasarnya adalah upaya untuk memanusiakan manusia kembali. Desa Keyongan Kecamatan Nogosari Kabupaten Boyolali sebagai kawasan peruntukan industri menengah yang berupa industri pertanian, kertas, industri kayu, penerbit, percetakan, pakaian jadi dan industri sejenis. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan RPJM Kab. Boyolali sejak tahun 2010 yang mencanangkan program “Pro Invenstasi”. Dalam penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat dengan lingkungan pertanian dan industri menengah di Desa Keyongan Kecamatan Nogosari Kabupaten Boyolali, dan menggunakan methode penelitian kualitatif. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi kesehatan masyarakat Desa Keyongan, dengan munculnya berbagai industri menengah di sekitarnya dan untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat dan pemerintahan desa agar kesehatan masyarakat tetap terjaga. Bertumbuhnya berbagai kegiatan kewirausahaan, terutama menjadi daerah industri menengah, maka akan meninggalkan residu bagi lingkungan, baik dari sisi suara atau kebisingan, udara atau polusi, bau tidak sedap, berkembangnya lalat dan nyamuk karena pencemaran air dari sisa industri dan sebagainya. Hal tersebut jika tidak dikelola dengan baik akan menimbulkan dampak buruk yang berkepanjangan, khususnya bagi kesehatan baik secara individu, kelompok maupun masyarakat.
