Abstract

During a pandemic like today, a very strong immune system is needed to maintain the body's resistance so that it is not easily exposed to disease. Strong immune power is produced from foods and beverages that contain good nutrition and nutrition for the health of the body. One of the drinks that can increase the body's immune power is Traditional Jamu which is well known to the Indonesian people, because Indonesia is very famous for its rich herbal ingredients that have many health benefits. There are so many kinds of herbs that can be found in our country that many foreigners even hunt, because the properties contained in herbs are needed for body health and are rarely found in other countries. This is an advantage for us Indonesian people, who clearly will have no trouble getting raw materials to mix herbal drinks. This is an opportunity for our society, so that they can develop traditional herbal drinks to be more modern and penetrate the global market. This of course requires touches of renewable technology, so it is hoped that traditional Indonesian herbal drinks can be marketed to the wider community and the biggest hope is to enter the international market. However, in reality, there are several obstacles faced by traditional herbal drink manufacturers. Among them is the resulting product has a short shelf life. For this reason, it is necessary to transfer the right processing and packaging technology so that the product shelf life is longer. The method used in this research is a touch of transfer of processing technology and packaging technology to extend the shelf life of the traditional herbal medicine industry in Majalengka, so as to improve product performance.

Abstract

In the cattle fattening business, feed is the main factor determining cattle growth. Providing quality feed is a challenge for ruminant breeders, both large ruminants and small ruminants, especially during the dry season where availability is very limited. Therefore, breeders are required to create other alternatives for providing quality feed, with good shelf life, at lower costs. One application of simple technology that could be a solution is through feed fermentation. This research aims to analyze: the effect of fermented feed on cattle fattening performance. The material used was 15 cows, consisting of 8 imported/foreign crossbreed cattle and 7 local cattle. The location of this fattening process is carried out at the Ibnu Hikam Tani Farmer's Cage, Kulur Sindangkasih Village, Majalengka. The method used is Operational Research (RO). The results of the research showed that by using fermented feed, the increase in body weight (ADG) of foreign breed cattle was 0.5-0.7 kg per day, while the growth of local cattle was 0.5 kg per day. Meanwhile, the average daily feed cost is IDR 20,000-25,000 per day per head. Farmers' perceptions vary regarding the price of feed and feed ingredients. Even though this self-mixed fermented feed is still below SNI standards, it does not reduce the nutritional quality for the nutritional intake needed by ruminants. This research concluded that by using fermented feed, foreign-breed cattle absorb more nutrients than local cattle. So it is recommended to improve feed quality by adding or changing the feed formula currently used.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using type E admixture by reducing the amount of water content on the slump value and compressive strength of concrete in quarry Ex. noisy. The mixture used in this study was a normal concrete mix, a mixture with the addition of Type E admixture 1%, 1.5% and 2% taken from the weight of cement, by making cylindrical test objects measuring 15 cm x 30 cm with a total sample of 12 pieces and concrete compressive strength test plan at the age of 7, 14 and 28 days. The results of this study for normal concrete mixtures obtained a slump value of 60 mm, whereas for mixtures using type E admixture, the slump value was between 62 – 67 mm. From this study, the ideal mix was produced for a mixture using 1.5% E type admixture with a compressive strength of 22.64 MPa, while for normal concrete mixtures with a compressive strength of 20.38 MPa, for a mixture using E type 1 admixture % obtained a compressive strength of 21.23 Mpa, and the mixture with the addition of 2% type E admixture obtained a compressive strength of 21.79 Mpa. However, the mixture with the addition of 2% E type admixture experienced a decrease in compressive strength compared to the previous mixture, namely with the addition of 1.5% admixture.

Abstract

Road curves often become vulnerable to traffic accidents, which remain a significant worldwide issue. This study provides an essential analysis of the effects of road geometry on curves on user safety. The main objective of this research is to identify the relationship between the features of curve infrastructure, such as radius, superelevation, and lane width, and the traffic accident rate. Accident data from various road segments in Indonesia was thoroughly analyzed. Special emphasis is placed on the types of accidents, their severity levels, and the contributing factors to these accidents. Studies show that curves with suboptimal designs, such as small radii or lack of superelevation, significantly increase the risk of accidents. Additionally, the consistency of geometric design and the visual perception of curves significantly affect the safety of drivers and other road users. This study highlights the importance of using a comprehensive approach in the planning and designing road curves to enhance overall transportation safety. The proposed recommendations include stricter design guidelines, improved maintenance, and better instructions for road users to reduce the risk of curve accidents.

Abstract

Middle Citys play a crucial role in the socio-economic landscape of developing cities, yet their integration with efficient public transportation systems remains a persistent urban challenge. This study presents a systematic literature review of research published between 2020 and 2025, aiming to evaluate the service levels of public transportation in Middle City environments. Using Publish or Perish and VOSviewer, 120 relevant studies were identified and analyzed across five key service dimensions: frequency, affordability, accessibility, safety, and user satisfaction. The findings reveal that while public transportation around Middle Citys is generally available, significant gaps remain in terms of affordability, safety, and inclusive access for vulnerable groups such as elderly users and informal workers. Geographic analysis shows that most research originates from rapidly urbanizing countries in Asia and Africa, highlighting regional concerns with informal commercial zones. This review underscores the urgent need for context-sensitive, participatory, and equity-focused planning approaches to improve public transport service quality in Middle Citys and similar urban environments..

Abstract

In a project, the role of the time schedule is very important in the implementation of the project because it is necessary to manage the time for the project to be carried out in accordance with the targets to be achieved and as a guide in the implementation of the construction stages so that the project can be carried out properly without any obstacles. If in a project there is no time schedule, then the project cannot be managed properly and the results are not optimal or the implementation may exceed the project time limit. Therefore, the time schedule is a very important part of a project. Time schedule analysis is carried out using weekly data in the form of an S curve and a description of the implementation to determine problems that occur in the field and solutions to these problems.
