Abstract

The background of this research is the result of an interview with one of the teachers while doing Field Experience Practice at PKBM An-Nahar. The results of the interviews revealed that students were still lacking interest when given writing assignments. Learning is done by lecture method. Meanwhile, students do not hone material outside of learning. Material arrest and consequences of students are very limited. practicing in writing skills training from students is expected to have a solution. This solution must also be able to foster passion and interest in writing. Based on the above, researchers will conduct research on efforts to improve the drama writing skills of PKBM An-Nahar students using the Guided Exercise Method. This research is included in the class action research (CAR). The research subjects were An-Nahar PKBM students, Kuwarasan, Kebumen. The variable taken in PTK is the skill of writing drama scripts with guided practice techniques. The indicators taken are in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Based on the results of the research, data were obtained on the process aspect of growing students' interest in writing as many as 22 students (88%). In the aspect of the process of finding ideas as many as 20 students (80%). In the aspect of the process of financing the elements in writing, there were 20 students (80%). In the aspect of the writing process, it can be seen from the rules of writing a script as many as 18 students (72%). And in the aspect of whether students are conducive to writing, there are also 22 students (88%). From these data, it means that students experience a significant increase after learning with the guided practice method. It can be concluded that efforts to improve writing skills using guided practice methods have been successful.

Abstract

Speech acts are defined as actions that regulate how to speak well. Illocutionary speech acts function to convey information or can also be used to do something. The purpose of this study is to identify the illocutionary speech contained in the podcast bocor alus politik “dizzy from free lunch”. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique in this research uses listening and note taking. The source of data in this research is the video of the podcast bocor alus politics “dizzy due to free lunch”. The theory used is the study of pragmatics. This study uses illocutionary speech acts. The results of the speech act research on the podcast video bocor alus politics “dizzy from lunch” found as many as 14 assertive speech acts, 10 directive speech acts, 4 expressive speech acts, 3 commissive speech acts, and 2 declarative speech acts.

Abstract

Reflection on life problems is a stage for exploring a human's actions and experiences in everyday life. This reflection process can be taken from various sources including tembang dolanan. The tembang dolanan "E Dayohe Teko" is a manifestation of Javanese cultural expression which has deep meaning in human life and society today. This research aims to (1) find out how the tembang dolanan "E Dayohe Teko" is a reflection of life problems, especially socio-economic dynamics (2) Tembang as a cultural communication tool (3) The relevance of the song to the lives of today's society. The research method used is context description with data collection techniques through literature study. The source of this research is the folk song "E Dayohe Teko" by Djoyoboyo. The theory used is Folklore studies. The results of this research show that the traditional song "E Dayohe Teko" is an example of Indonesia's cultural richness which is still relevant as a reflection on the problems of contemporary human life.
