<![CDATA[The background in this research is a management information system for madrasas concerning the implementation and utilization for the benefit of integrated management. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency has implemented a management information system to meet the needs of those who want quality education services. This requires continuous development of management information systems. The purpose of this research is to find out the management information system implemented in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency with the steps of data collection, data processing and data input as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of implementing management information systems. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research (field research). Sources of data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. By making administrative staff and teachers as respondents and madrasah heads as informants in obtaining data. Data analysis in this study is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The stages in this research are the preliminary stage, the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the final stage. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of management information systems at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency has been developed through several management information systems, namely websites, RDM, EMIS, SIMPATIKA, and ANBK which are carried out according to established procedures. Supporting factors for the management information system process at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency, namely, facilities and infrastructure that support the management of management information systems, the availability of operational teams and the existence of ICT learning. The inhibiting factors for the management information system process were teachers having difficulty implementing the management information system, errors in the application system and adding data units from the central Ministry of Religion.]]>
