Abstract

This study aims to determine the total costs and income of farmers in Sigerongan Village, determine the contribution of tilapia to the income of farmers in Sigerongan Village, and find out the obstacles faced by farmers in tilapia business in Sigerongan Village. The research was conducted in Sigerongan Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency. Determination of the research area is done by purposive sampling. A total of 25 tilapia farmers in Sigerongan Village were used as respondents in this study, with the data collection methods used were questionnaires and interviews. The variables measured in this study were the total income of farmers, the contribution of tilapia to farmers' income and the constraints faced by farmers in the tilapia business. In accordance with the first objective, an analysis of operating income is carried out, starting from total revenue, total operating costs and total net income. For the second purpose, a contribution analysis was carried out. The results showed: First, the total costs incurred for the tilapia fish business were Rp. 574,139,680,- while the net income is Rp. 728,700,320,-/year. Second, the contribution of freshwater fisheries to the total income of farmers in Sigerongan Village is Rp.728,700,320,-/year or 78% of the total income of farmers of Rp.894,023,262,-. Third, the problems faced in the tilapia business in Sigerongan Village, the first is the problem of capital. The high price of fish feed is one of the causes of the lack of capital. Second, the capacity of fish entrepreneurs and surrounding communities is still low in processing fishery products so that when fish products are abundant, the selling price will be relatively low

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of cucumber farmers in Bentek Village, to determine the efficiency in running cucumber farming in Bentek Village, and to find out the obstacles or obstacles faced by farmers in cucumber farming in Bentek Village. The research was conducted in Bentek Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency. Determination of the research area is done by purposive sampling. A total of 30 cucumber farmers in Bentek Village were used as samples in this study by means of a census. The variables measured in this study were the total income of farmers, efficiency in cucumber farming and the obstacles faced by farmers in cucumber farming. In accordance with the first objective, namely knowing the income of farmers in cucumber farming, an analysis of costs and income was carried out. Then to find out the problems faced by farmers, in taking an inventory of existing problems and obstacles, a descriptive analysis was carried out. The results showed: First, the total income of farmers in cucumber farming in Bentek Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency is Rp. 43,202,902 /Ha or Rp. 7,099,677 /LGG. Second, the efficiency of cucumber farming in Bentek Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency is 1.75, meaning that every one rupiah allocated to this cucumber farming will bring a profit of 75 rupiah. Third, the constraints faced by farmers are pest and disease attack as much as 86.67%, purity standard 96.67%, and erratic weather 73.33%.

untuk dibudidayakan karena mudah tumbuh dan memiliki harga minyak yang cukup tinggi/mahal. Tanaman nilam merupakan salah satu tanaman hasil hutan bukan kayu sebagai penghasil minyak atsiri yang digunakan untuk bahan pewangi dan kosmetik yang memiliki banyak manfaat dan peminatnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : (1) besarnya biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam usahatani nilam, (2) pendapatan petani dalam usahatani nilam, dan (3) hambatan/kendala dalam usahatani nilam ini. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang dengan menggunakan metode sensus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, rata rata pendapatan usahatani nilam pada Resort Malimbu BKPH Rinjani Barat Rp 503.112/3Bln dan Rp 2.012.448/Th dengan rata-rata biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan pada usahatani nilam di Resort Malimbu BKPH Rinjani Barat adalah sebesar Rp 2.218.555/3Bln (per satu kali panen/produksi) dan sebesar Rp 8.836.931/Th (per 4 kali panen/produksi dalam 1 tahun). Penghambat/kendala dalam usahatani nilam di Wilayah Resort Malimbu BKPH Rinjani Barat ini adalah : penjualan, cuaca dan harga.

Abstract

The Batu Jai Dam functions as an irrigation facility in the agricultural areas of Penujak, Setanggor, Darek, Ungga, Ranggagata, and around Praya Barat District, Central Lombok Regency with an area of ​​3,350 ha. Water hyacinth is a dangerous weed because it grows very fast, so a model for the control and utilization of water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) must be carried out. One way to do this is to utilize the water hyacinth plant into a marketable product such as fertilizer, handicraft products and others. The technique of determining the location and population is done by purposive sampling method. The results of a search with a questionnaire on 50 respondents about the benefits of water hyacinth plants obtained the benefits of water hyacinth plants according to the people around the Batujai dam, namely 40% stated that the benefits of water hyacinth plants as raw materials for making fertilizer, 30% as raw materials for crafts such as sandals, bags, and other, 20% of water hyacinth plants are used as medicine and only 5% of the people consider water hyacinth plants as weeds. Whereas in extension activities with 35 participants, 48.6% stated that water hyacinth plants could be useful as raw materials for crafts, 37.1% stated that they were used as fertilizer raw materials, 3% stated that they were useful as medicine and 2% stated that they are weeds. concluded that water hyacinth plants are economically, socially, ecologically beneficial. This shows that water hyacinth plants are beneficial to the environment around the dam. Based on the results of the FGD, there were 3 important activities carried out by related agencies based on the results of counseling and interviews with the community, namely water hyacinth plants as fertilizer, as raw materials for crafts and determining the location of water hyacinth cultivation outside the Batujai Dunngan.
