Abstract

Human and Social capitals are the main keys to encourage quality economicgrowth. The main role of social capital is to increase business competitiveness ina sustainable manner. The social capital is needed to encourage quality economicgrowth and sustainable competitiveness. Pondok Pesantren is required to supportthe sustainability of pesantren. However, most Pondok Pesantrens have not maximised their economic potential due to the classical understanding that only physical capital is needed for economics. One of the Pondok Pesantren that optimize social capital as an economic instrument is Ponpes Sunan Drajat. So,it is interesting to study the role of social capital in the economic development through pesantren business units. This research is qualitative approach. Primary data  collected with Information from PPSD. Secondary data include journal and media sosial. The three main data collection techniques used by observation, interviews and documentation. Observations are carried out as by economic efforts in Islamic Boarding School that involve the community that happen directly. The results showed that the role of Pesantren trust in developing business units is by attractingbusinessunit community, and strengthen the networkties. Value elements play arolein fostering trust, and norms in keeping values intact. Trust intangible valueshavebecome the norm, able to shape the human resources of business unit tobecomea credible, trustworthy, responsible, honest and fair person so the businessunitcan be maximised. This finding strengthens the previous studies that theory ofsocialcapital can play a role in developing the economy.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a solution to the dual function problem of BAZNAS. The problem required the regulatory aspect improvement. Indentifiying national business governance issues, improving the regulation of Law No. 23/2011 on zakat management is crucial. The separation of the two functions of BAZNAS will also reduce the risk of misuse of zakat funds which can be significantly reduced, an independent regulator can conduct monitoring and auditing more effectively. This research uses qualitative method or conceptual review of secondary data through literature study approach. The purpose of the research is to help identify, analyze, and overcome problems and challenges faced in society. The results of the study to achieve economic justice through zakat, the BAZNAS institution needs to separate its function as implementer. To achieve economic justice through zakat, BAZNAS needs to separate its functions as implementer. This separation of functions for BAZNAS will also reduce the risk of misuse of zakat funds which can be reduced significantly. Meanwhile, regulations regarding zakat can be more optimally carried out by the Ministry of Religion independently in monitoring and auditing more effectively, thereby reducing the potential for abuse by implementers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the practice of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program at Bank Indonesia to optimizing education by scholarship program at University of Darussalam Gontor based on maqasid sharia overview. The method used in this research is field research, which directly related to the object. The data source used in this study are primary and secondary data collected by triangulation method. In the process, researchers conducted observations, interviews with 30 respondence and documentation. The results showed CSR program in the form of scholarships has included the principle of maqashid perspective on the aspect of Tahẓib al-Fardh (Individual Education). In general, the impact of CSR Education for BI scholarship recipients and UNIDA Gontor is a strategic social investment. The recommendation is the application of maqᾱṣid al-shari’ah in the community of Bank Indonesia scholarship recipients must be implemented even better so it can be utilized by students and by the community.
