Abstract

Variabel frekuensi langkah menunjukkan angka rata-ratanya sebesar 4,77 langkah / det (stride frequency max).

Abstract

The reaction for the hockey goalkeeper is needed to anticipate that the ball does not enter the goal. The purpose of this study was to increase the reaction speed of hockey goalkeepers with the rotation drill method. The rotation drill method is a form of exercise to increase the first speed in multiple directions and react time. The method used is experimental. The subjects in this study were the total 6 person goalkeepers of the Student Activity Unit for hockey. By using a pretest posttest group research design with all samples given an experiment. From the results of research data processing, it was found that the output of the paired sample test of rotation drill exercises on the reaction speed of hockey goalkeepers had a significant effect, it can be concluded that the rotation drill method had a significant effect on increasing the reaction speed of hockey goalkeepers.

Abstract

Distribution of triple jump phases was deemed as a technical factor because the phase ratio significantly affects the actual distance in the triple jump. The objective of this study was to identify the phase ratio that is a measure of effort distribution in the triple jump. Hop-dominant, balanced, and jump-dominant techniques were three triple jump techniques defined based on phase ratio which are compared with its of world triple jumpers. The descriptive method was used in this research and subjects were male Indonesian triple jump athletes whose films were taken to be analyzed using Dartfish motion analysis. The percentage analysis obtained from each phase was calculated by comparing it with the total distance of the jump. The largest percentage value of the three phases was the type of jump performed. The performance of the world's triple jumpers was used as a comparative model for analysis to assess the quality of the movement and each athlete's movement sequence form was compared with movement of world triple jumper. The data revealed that the ratio of hop, step, and jump phases was 32% :30% :38%. The phase ratio of Indonesian triple jumper that produced the greatest jump distance was achieved in the jump phase. Despite phase ratio of each subject was wildly different but it was a good index detector of perfect distribution phase that demonstrates the good practice model especially for Indonesia triple jumper athletes.

Abstract

Service in tennis is a very important thing to determine the course of a game, players who often make mistakes in this process tend to experience a lack of self-confidence. Then it results in loss of concentration and unbalanced coordination. Players with fast hand reaction and hand-eye coordination who have high performance in every game. This study aims to determine the effect of hand-eye coordination training on improving the service skills of tennis athletes. The method used in this study is the Experimental method with a Pre-test Post-test Control group design design. The population used was 15 Indonesia University of Education Tennis Student Activity Unit athletes. Sampling was carried out by Purposive Sampling, and the sample numbered 8 people, then divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group with Hand-Eye Coordination Training and Service Drills and the control group with Service Drill Training. In measuring the skills or accuracy of athletes using instrumentsHewitt tennis achievement test.Service Drill Training with Eye Hand Coordination and Service Drill Training have a significant influence on improving service skills. However, Service Drill Training with Eye Hand Coordination shows better results in improving the service skills of athletes in the sport of Tennis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of medicine ball training on batting performance in Baseball Labs athletes by emphasizing the role of hip rotational strength. Medicine ball training is a form of strength training that involves rotational and explosive movements, in accordance with the characteristics of the batting motion in baseball. This study uses an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 20 baseball athletes using purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this study used “The O’Donnel Test” with the Funggo Batting Test test item. The sample followed the training program for 16 meetings. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results (p < 0.05), which means that medicine ball training has a positive effect on improving batting results. Thus, this exercise can be used as an effective alternative in the functional strength development program for baseball athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of slice service training on the accuracy of tennis service strokes. Slice service is a technique that produces a lateral spin, creating a curved ball trajectory that is difficult to anticipate and return, especially for intermediate players. Despite its tactical advantages, this technique is rarely given specific attention in tennis training programs. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach involving 16 athletes from Caringin Tennis Club aged 18–23 years. The instrument used was the validated Hewitt's Tennis Achievement Test. The results showed a significant increase in service accuracy, with the mean score rising from 17.88 (pretest) to 44.00 (posttest). Paired sample t-test analysis confirmed a statistically significant improvement (p = 0.000). The data met the assumption of normality based on the Shapiro-Wilk test. These findings indicate that structured slice service training effectively improves stroke precision, motor coordination, and confidence during service execution. The study supports the importance of integrating specific technique-based training in tennis coaching, especially during the skill development phase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of game-based training on the tactical skills understanding of adult tennis players at Sigma Tennis Club Bandung.. The method used in this study was an experiment using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were 10 tennis players training at Sigma Tenis Club Bandung, while the sample size was 10 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling, where all members of the population were used as samples in the study. The research instrument used a questionnaire referring to the Tactical Skills Questionnaire Test. Based on data processing and analysis, the average tactical skills performance test score increased from 63.00 to 84.30. The results of the paired sample t-test on both variables showed a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that Game-Based Approach training significantly improves the tactical skills of adult tennis players.
