Abstract

The purpose of this study is: To test whether there are differences in student learning outcomes before using the Snowball Throwing model with the learning outcomes of students who have used the Snowball Throwing model. To find out the effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education for class VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah 25 Modern Paciran Lamongan. From the results of data analysis it was found that student learning outcomes had increased. In the Pre-Test questions, the average student score was 74.36 with a classical learning mastery of 51%. In the Post-Test questions, the average score of students increased by 84 with classical learning mastery reaching 85%. Thus it can be said that learning using the Snowball Throwing model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education class VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah 25 Modern Paciran Lamongan..

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing development of technologyin the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, educators can innovate learning tomake the learning process more interesting, namely by utilizing various programsthat can produce an interactive learning media. The lack of use of learning mediaused, especially in Fiqh learning, makes students' learning motivation decreaseand feel bored in the learning process which tends to use conventional methods.One of the latest application programs that can be used as interactive learningmedia is the Kahoot educational game application. The purpose of this study is todetermine whether there is an effect of application-based learning media(Kahoot) on student learning outcomes at MTs Muhammadiyah 06 Banyutengah.This study used a quantitative approach with a One-group pretest-posttest designand the number of respondents was 26 respondents, using sample data. Datacollection using pre-test and post-test questions. The collected data were analyzedby validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, correlation test,significance test and coefficient of determination. Based on the results ofcalculations obtained manually with hypothesis testing using the product momentcorrelation formula, the results obtained rcount = 0.730> rtable = 0.3882. Whilefor the significance test, the results obtained tcount = 5.228> ttable = 2.063 atthe 5% significance level. Abstract

The current development of technology has led to media no longer being seen merely as a tool for educators, but also as an important means to achieve educational goals more effectively and efficiently. Media can represent educators in certain matters with greater precision, clarity, and appeal. Along with the advancement of science and technology, efforts are being made to create quality individuals. One way to improve the quality of individuals is by enhancing the quality of education, which can be achieved by updating the existing curriculum. From the observations at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 12 Palirangan and interviews with seventh grade students, it was found that the lack of media related to learning materials also leads to monotonous teaching, resulting in students being less motivated to receive and understand the material, as well as a lack of creativity from educators in utilizing technological media. Every lesson should incorporate innovative learning methods that can encourage students to be active and enthusiastic in their studies. Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in human life. In the learning process, a teacher's understanding of the mastery of the teaching methods they use is essential. Therefore, the researcher uses the scramble game learning method to be applied at Muhammadiyah 06 Brondong elementary school in the subject of Akidah Akhlak, as this learning method is considered suitable for implementation in the fifth grade of Muhammadiyah 06 Brondong elementary school. Based on the results of the validity test calculations. Based on the results of the validity test calculations, it shows that 20 multiple-choice questions are considered valid, meaning that rhitung > rtabel, where the rtabel value is 0.455. Next is the reliability calculation using Cronbach's alpha, with a calculated r value from the pre-test of 0.880 and a post test of 0.897. The tested data is considered reliable because the calculated r value is greater than 0.06, meaning it meets the reliability requirements of Cronbach's alpha. Normality test, the researcher here used the Shapiro-Wilk technique because the number of respondents obtained is < 50, with the values obtained for the pre test being 0.251 and for the post-test being 0.134, both of which are > 0.05, which is the requirement for the data to be considered normal. The next calculation is homogeneity; data is said to be homogeneous if ftabel > fhitung. The value of ftabel obtained is (0.221) and rhitung. (0,126). Based on the results of the product moment correlation test, the calculated r value is 0.622 and the table r value is 0.455. This indicates that the calculated r is greater than the table r, leading to the conclusion that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means there is an influence of the Scramble Game method on the learning outcomes in the subject of Akidah Akhlak for fifth grade at MIM 06 Brondong. A correlation coefficient of 0.622 falls between 0.60 and 0.799, thus it is categorized as moderate. In the significance test results, a t-value of 3.274 was obtained, while the t-table value with 19 respondents at a significance level of α=0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) = n-2 is 2.271. It can be concluded that if t calculated > t table, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the pretest and posttest data are significant.

Abstract

Indonesia's education system faces challenges in interactive learning, particularly in religious subjects such as Aqidah Akhlak. The transition to the Merdeka Curriculum encourages the use of innovative media, such as the Big Book, to address low learning outcomes. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Big Book in improving learning outcomes and student motivation in second-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah 5 Banyutengah. The research employs a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest approach on 26 students. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires and analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, correlation analysis, and t-test. The results indicate that the average post-test score was 70.07 (exceeding the minimum mastery criterion of 70), showing a 35.2% increase from the pretest score (51.92). Student motivation increased by 80.77%. The Big Book was effective in enhancing learning outcomes and student participation. The implications of this study suggest that the Big Book is recommended for Islamic religious education and teacher training. However, this study has limitations, including a small sample size (26 students) and a short intervention duration (four weeks). Future research should explore long-term effects and the integration of digital technology.
