Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stres akademik selama era pandemi COVID-19 dirasakan oleh siswa. Faktor penyebab stres akademik selama era pandemi COVID-19 yang berdampak yaitu perubahan metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pengendalian stres akademik pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Kota Pariaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif.Metode: Metode pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling dan metode analisis data univariat dan bivariat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Kota Pariaman.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor stres akademik masih tinggi, kejadian stres akademik rendah, serta strategi pengendalian stres akademik baik dengan teknik Schedule Daily Relaxing Time dan Problem focused coping.Kesimpulan: Komponen pada teori Cognitive Behaviour Modification (CBM)/Cognitive Behaviour Theraphy (CBT) saling berhubungan satu dengan yang lain dalam mempengaruhi startegi pengendalian stres akademik pada siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Kota Pariaman, meskipun tidak semuanya saling berhubungan secara statistic. Peneliti menyarankan kepada guru untuk memberikan sesi refreshment dan waktu interaksi sharing untuk berbagi cerita antara guru dan siswa untuk mengurangi tingkat stres akademik di era pandemi COVID-19 pada siswa.Kata kunci: remaja; stres akademik; coping stresABSTRACTTitle: Academic Stress Control Strategy in High School Students (Case Study in SMA Negeri 1 Pariaman City Students)Background: Academic stress during the COVID-19 pandemic era was felt by students. Factors causing academic stress during the COVID-19 pandemic era that have an impact are changes in learning methods. This study aims to determine how the academic stress control strategy in SMA Negeri 1 Pariaman City students. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive quantitative approach.Methods: Sampling method using simple random sampling and univariate and bivariate data analysis methods. The sample in this study was class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Kota Pariaman.Results: The results showed that the academic stress factor was still high, the incidence of academic stress was low, and the academic stress control strategy was good with Schedule Daily Relaxing Time and Problem focused coping techniques.Conclusion: The components of the Cognitive Behavior Modification (CBM)/Cognitive Behavior Theraphy (CBT) theory are related to each other in influencing academic stress control strategies for class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Kota Pariaman, although not all of them are statistically related. Researchers suggest teachers to provide refreshment sessions and sharing interaction time to share stories between teachers and students to reduce academic stress levels in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic for students.Keywords: teenager; academic stress; coping stress

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pendidikan seksualitas bukan hanya mempelajari tentang aspek biologi atau sosial tetapi menyangkut masalah psikologis, budaya, moral, etika dan hukum. Pendidikan seksualitas tidak hanya memberikan informasi tentang seksualitas tetapi juga menumbuhkan sikap, perilaku positif, dan refleksi kritis terhadap pegalaman individu. Peran ibu sangat penting untuk mengenalkan pendidikan seksualitas sejak dini untuk anaknya.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif analitik dengan metode kuantitatif dan desain studi cross-sectional. Populasi sebanyak 487 karyawati yang bekerja di PT Phapros Tbk yang diambil denganteknik Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 98. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi square (α =5%).Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kerentanan mayoritas terdapat pada kategori kerentanan baik, persepsi keseriusan mayoritas terdapat pada kategori keseriusan baik, persepsi manfaat mayoritas terdapat pada kategori manfaat tinggi, persepsi hambatan mayoritas terdapat pada kategori hambatan tinggi, dan efikasi diri mayoritas terdapat pada kategori efikasi diri tinggi. Ada hubungan antara persepsi kerentanan (p-value = 0.045), persepsi keseriusan responden (p-value = 0.30), persepsi manfaat (p-value = 0.031), persepsi hambatan (p-value = 0.000), dan efikasi diri (p-value = 0.001) dengan peran ibu pekerja dalam memberikan pendidikan seksualitas pada anak usia dini. Sedangkan usia responden (p-value = 0.565), pendidikan responden (p-value = 0.155), pekerjaan responden (p-value = 0.054), pengetahuan (p-value = 0.103), dan isyarat untuk bertindak (p-value = 0.254) tidak berhubungan dengan peran ibu pekerja dalam memberikan Pendidikan seksualitas pada anak usia dini.Simpulan: Peran ibu pekerja dalam memberikan pendidikan seksualitas pada anak usia dini berada pada kategori tinggi.Kata kunci: pendidikan seksualitas, ibu pekerja, health belief model ABSTRACTTitle: The Role of Working Mothers in Providing Sexuality Education in Early ChildhoodBackground: Sexuality education covers biological, social, psychological, cultural, moral, ethical, and legal issues. Sexuality education promotes positive attitudes, behaviors, and self-reflection. Early sexuality education is crucial for mothers.  Method: This type of research is descriptive-analytic with quantitative methods and a cross-sectional study design. The population of 487 female employees at PT Phapros Tbk was sampled with 98 using the purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using univariate and bivariate statistical tests, as well as the chi square test (= 5%).  Result: The results showed that the majority of perceptions of vulnerability were in the "good vulnerability" category, the majority of perceptions of seriousness were in the "good seriousness" category, the majority of perceived benefits were in the "high benefit" category, the majority of perceived obstacles were in the "high obstacle" category, and the majority of self-efficacy was in the "high self-efficacy" category. There is a relationship between perceptions of vulnerability (p-value = 0.045), respondents' perceptions of seriousness (p-value = 0.30), perceived benefits (p-value = 0.031), perceived obstacles (p-value = 0.000), and self-efficacy (p-value = 0.001) with the role of working mothers in providing sexuality education to early childhood. While the respondent's age (p-value = 0.565), respondent's education (p-value = 0.155), respondent's occupation (p-value = 0.054), knowledge (p-value = 0.103), and cues to act (p-value = 0.254) are not related to the role of working mothers in providing sexuality education in early childhood.Conclusion: Working mothers play an important role in providing sexuality education to young children. Keywords: sexuality education, working mother, health belief model
