Saat teknologi serba memudahkan pekerjaan manusia, di balik itu media juga berperan penting dalam memberikan informasi serta hiburan yang layak dikonsumsi masyarakat. Film pendek menjadi salah satu konsumsi masyarakat modern. Berbagai media yang menyiarkan film, contoh kecilnya televisi, bioskop dan layanan streaming. Dengan ini pembuat karya melihat peluang untuk memberikan tontonan yang bermanfaat dengan menyuguhkan informasi yang menginspirasi serta menghibur masyarakat. Produser berniat meluncurkan sebuah karya film pendek berjudul “JANIS”. Tujuan film pendek berjudul “JANIS” ini adalah agar audiens terhibur dan teredukasi karena terdapat pesan-pesan di dalamnya. Film pendek berjudul “JANIS” ini merupakan film dengan genre dokudrama. Dengan adanya karya ini penulis serta berharap dapat menyampaikan informasi hiburan serta edukasi untuk masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda di Indonesia.
