Development of the Nagari Tuo Pariangan Tourist Village Based on Social Empowerment Iswadi Iswadi

Abstract

The Nagari Tuo Pariangan Tourism Village, located in West Sumatra, is a village for the Minangkabau community as the origin of the growth of small villages in Minangkabau. Communities around the village generally work as farmers. Their source of income from farming and gardening makes the community quite prosperous and part of the population migrates. With the natural wealth of the people of Nagari Tuo Pariangan, they also empower their area as a leading tourism and cultural center, this is evidenced by statistics on the increase in visits every year. This development shows that the level of community participation in Nagari Tuo Pariangan has increased participation and has also experienced developments in other sectors, such as the economic life development sector, and the social sector in the community. From a level that only relies on rice fields and plantations, it has increased with an increase in the tourism. Describe the level of participation of the Nagari Parianagan Community in Empowerment as a Natural and Cultural Tourism Village. To do this research, the methodology used is qualitative by exploring all sources of library data for research. The results show that the level of community participation in Nagari Tuo Pariangan has increased, especially in the form of partnerships so that there is an increase in community empowerment in the Natural and Cultural Tourism Village.

Abstract

The main problem in this thesis is the role of the Padang Panjang Job Training Center in creating job opportunities (study of community empowerment in education). The purpose of this discussion is to find out the program of the Training Department at the Padang Panjang Job Training Center (BLK), as well as the obstacles or constraints experienced by the Padang Panjang BLK in implementing the program and to know the impact of the Padang Panjang BLK. The type of research used is field research (field research), with qualitative methods, descriptive approach. Sources of data used are primary data sources, data directly found in the field from the first informant and secondary data sources, namely data obtained indirectly by researchers at the research location such as books, journals, and other scientific works. Data collection techniques that researchers use through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To check the validity of the data, the researchers used source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. BLK Padang Panjang as an institution received less feedback from participants regarding their existence. BLK Padang Panjang has had a great impact on participants by increasing their skills and expertise. The impact of the Padang Panjang BLK on the community reduces unemployment in Padang Panjang and its surroundings, because many young people find work both at home and abroad.

Abstract

The main problem in this thesis is the role of the Indragiri Hilir Regency Social Service in empowering street children through the Baiturrahman Shelter House program, where the empowerment process does not occur in the shelter that is aimed at street children, but is aimed at underprivileged people who are outside place to stay temporarily if one of their family is hospitalized. The type of research used is field research with qualitative research methods. This research was conducted at the Indragiri Hilir Regency Social Service office using interview instruments, documentation using cellphone media, books and pens. In this study, the data sources obtained were primary data sources and secondary data. While the data analysis technique used was data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing and to check the validity of the data, the researchers used source triangulation and technical triangulation and time. Based on the research findings, the authors found that the Baiturrahman shelter program was not focused on street children, but for underprivileged people who are outside the area for temporary stays. If one of their family members is hospitalized, they may stay temporarily at home. the stopover was for three days by bringing a number of requirements such as a family card (kk), a statement of incapacity (SKTM) and a statement letter to be cared for for a sick family member from the hospital. Regarding shelters for street children, they are only opened as a form of service, such as if the street children are caught in a raid by the Satpol PP, then the child will be taken to the Baiturrahman shelter to be given advice and the child's parents will be called to pick up their child at the halfway house, not only that the Office of Social Affairs also works with related OPDs to deal with the problem of street children. The Indragiri Hilir Regency Social Service also provided assistance in the form of groceries to the underprivileged and for street children and for street children who did not have clothes and footwear, the Social Service also provided assistance in the form of clothing and footwear for these street children.

Abstract

The main issue in this research is to examine the forms of social and economic changes caused by salted fish management efforts, as well as to explain the impacts arising from salted fish management in the village of Air Bangis, Sungai Beremas Subdistrict, Pasaman Barat Regency. The research method used is field research with qualitative methods. The study was conducted in the village of Air Bangis. Data collection techniques employed by the researcher include observation, interviews, documentation using a mobile phone, books, and pens. Primary and secondary data sources were used in this study. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, presentation, drawing conclusions, and to ensure data validity, the researcher used source triangulation. Based on the researcher's findings, changes in the community around the salted fish management business in the Air Bangis area, Sungai Beremas Subdistrict, Pasaman Barat Regency, include social changes such as shifts in mindset and interaction patterns. Economic changes include increased income and changes in livelihoods. Besides affecting the location of salted fish management, this also has social and economic impacts on the community. Positive impacts include improved social relationships, job opportunities, and fulfilling livelihood needs, while negative impacts include environmental pollution and social jealousy between workers and those not employed in the salted fish management facility.
