Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Business Challenge program as a means of economic empowerment and Islamic character formation among the youth of Nurul Yaqin Mosque in Tanah Enam Ratus. The main issue focuses on the extent to which this activity enhances participants’ economic independence, creativity, and Islamic values. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving program committees, mentors, and participants. The findings reveal that the Business Challenge program plays a significant role in fostering youth entrepreneurship through Sharia-based business practices, basic financial management, and teamwork rooted in the values of trustworthiness, discipline, and responsibility. Moreover, it strengthens the participants’ Islamic character, such as honesty, independence, and social concern. Therefore, the Business Challenge serves not only as an economic training platform but also as a medium for shaping a productive and morally upright generation of mosque youth.

Abstract

This research focuses on discussing the influence of the use of mobile banking offered by Bank Muamalat KCP Stabat on the interests of customers who use mobile banking. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of using mobile banking on customer interest and the magnitude of the influence of using mobile banking on customer satisfaction at Bank Muamalat KCP Stabat. This research uses quantitative data and distributes questionnaires. The method used was Non Probability sampling with a sample of 97 respondents. Sampling technique with several criteria and considerations. Meanwhile, the analysis method used is the T test (Partial Test). The results of this research show that the Fcount value is 182.156 > Ftable 3.09 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, so the regression model can be used to predict the influence of the Mobile Banking Use Variable (X) on the Customer Interest Variable (Y). The X regression coefficient of 0.803 states that for every 1% increase in the Mobile Banking Usage value, the Customer Interest value increases by 0.803. The regression coefficient is positive, so it can be said that the direction of influence of variable X on Y is positive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the business visibility of MSME actors in Pematang Siantar City through the use of Google My Business. The methods include identifying needs, preparing materials, recruiting trainers, conducting theoretical and practical sessions, and evaluating. Of the 40 participants, most had shops and stalls that could have been more optimal in online marketing. The activity results showed that the training increased participants' understanding and skills in digital marketing, especially using Google My Business. Evaluation involves participant feedback, measurement of results, and recommendations for improvement. This activity concludes that the training has succeeded in having a positive impact on MSME actors in Pematang Siantar City, improving their digital skills and providing recommendations for further training to be more effective.

Abstract

Pelatihan digital fundraising merupakan langkah strategis yang penting untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kompetensi relawan Lazismu Kota Medan dalam mengelola kampanye pengumpulan dana melalui platform digital. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang konsep digital fundraising, mengasah keterampilan teknis dalam menggunakan alat dan aplikasi digital, serta meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi dengan donatur. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi pemaparan materi, praktik kerja, dan simulasi kampanye. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman relawan tentang digital fundraising, kemampuan teknis, serta strategi komunikasi yang lebih efektif. Evaluasi peserta mengindikasikan keberhasilan pelatihan ini dalam mencapai tujuannya, Peningkatan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana juga menjadi fokus utama untuk membangun kepercayaan donatur. Dengan pelatihan ini, diharapkan Lazismu Kota Medan dapat mengoptimalkan kegiatan fundraising mereka dan memberikan dampak yang lebih besar bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Mandiri merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya dalam bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Dolok Manampang, Kecamatan Dolok Masihul, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan fokus utama pada pemberdayaan perempuan melalui pelatihan menjahit. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 10 hari yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, membuka peluang usaha rumahan, dan mendukung kemandirian ekonomi perempuan di desa. Metode kegiatan dilakukan secara partisipatif dan edukatif melalui pendekatan observasi, koordinasi dengan pemerintah desa, serta pelatihan langsung yang melibatkan mentor. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan perempuan dalam menjahit dan memayet serta tumbuhnya kesadaran akan pentingnya kemandirian ekonomi keluarga. Selain itu, kegiatan tambahan seperti pelatihan tari tradisional dan promosi kampus turut memberikan dampak sosial positif bagi anak-anak dan remaja desa. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan menjahit efektif sebagai strategi pemberdayaan perempuan dan dapat dikembangkan menjadi program berkelanjutan untuk peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat desa
