Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of a training program on the professional competence of Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) teachers in developing traditional educational game tools. The training activities employed the experiential learning model, focusing on the steps of traditional APE (Anak Usia Dini Pendidikan, or Early Childhood Education) development: selecting traditional games, choosing materials, adapting games into APE, determining learning themes, and piloting APE with peers. The findings revealed several implications of the training program on the professional competence of PAUD teachers. First, there was a significant increase in teacher knowledge, particularly in traditional APE. Second, teachers became more aware of the importance of traditional APE in early childhood education. Third, teachers' understanding of professional competence was enhanced through the training, enabling them to incorporate traditional APE into their teaching practices effectively. Fourth, the development and utilization of learning themes through traditional APE became more widespread among teachers. Fifth, teachers better understood child development aspects that could be nurtured through traditional APE. Sixth, the training diversified teaching methods through traditional APE, resulting in more engaging and interactive learning experiences was essential. Seventh, teachers' ability to create stimulating learning environments improved. Finally, the training program gave teachers valuable experiences, knowledge, and motivation to enhance their instructional practices. This study highlights the positive outcomes of training PAUD teachers in developing traditional educational game tools, emphasizing the significance of traditional APE in fostering professional competence and enriching early childhood education. Abstract

This article aims to describe and find out about: 1) describe and analyze teacher learning methods in improving students' understanding of mathematics subjects; 2) describe and analyze the application of teacher learning methods in improving students' understanding of mathematics subjects; 3) Describe the obstacles teachers face in improving students' understanding of mathematics subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data display/data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the technique for checking the validity of the researcher's data uses triangulation techniques and member checks. The results of this research show that: 1) To improve students' understanding of mathematics, teachers include: a) Lecture method, b) Discussion method, c) Expository method, d) Problem solving method; 2) The application of teacher methods in improving students' understanding of learning is by using methods in a teaching and learning process. In the teaching process, the teacher not only explains and conveys a number of lesson materials to students, but the teacher also provides stimulation and encouragement so that the learning process occurs in the students; 3) The obstacles experienced by teachers are lack of time and infrastructure as well as lack of attention of students to the teacher's explanation and lack of ability of students to apply mathematical formulas that have been explained by the teacher in the questions given because students still have difficulty in solving problems. using mathematical formulas.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the Perceptions of Civil Service Teachers on Class Management Skills of Practical Field Experience Teachers at the Sambas Islamic Institute Class of 2019 at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam. This research has two objectives, namely: 1) Describe the skills of the 2019 IAIS Sambas Field Experience Practice teachers in managing classes at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam. 2) Describe the teacher's perception of the skills of the 2019 IAIS Sambas Field Experience Practice teachers in managing classes at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam. This research uses a qualitative approach and a phenomenological type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation and member checking. The research results show that: 1. The skills of the 2019 IAIS Sambas Field Experience Practical teacher in managing the class apply the principles of class management (warm and enthusiastic, challenge, variety, flexibility and self- discipline), use an approach to class management, use an approach according to the learning conditions faced, organize study room by paying attention to (seating arrangements, arrangement of teaching tools, arrangement of beauty and cleanliness of the classroom, ventilation and lighting). When controlling learning conditions, PPL teachers try to create conducive learning conditions in several ways (showing responsiveness, dividing attention, giving clear instructions, reprimanding and providing reinforcement, modifying behavior and solving behavior that causes problems). 2. The teacher's perception of the IAIS Sambas Field Experience Practice teacher's skills in managing the classroom has shown good results because they have implemented the principles of classroom management, apart from that the teacher has also been free to use the classroom management approach, organize the learning space and control learning conditions properly. Good.

Abstract

This study aims to clearly describe: First. How are the extracurricular muhadharah activities at Madrasah Aliyah Yasti Sekura, second, how is the religious character of class XII students at Madrasah Aliyah Yasti Sekura, third is there a significant influence between extracurricular muhadharah activities on improving the religious character of class XII students at Madrasah Aliyah Yasti Sekura in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey research type. Data collection techniques use indirect communication techniques and observation. The data analysis techniques used are percentage, central tendency and simple linear regression. The results of the study concluded that: How are the extracurricular muhadharah activities at Madrasah Aliyah Yasti, namely: First, requiring all students to take part in extracurricular Muhadharah activities. Second All students get a turn to present a lecture or sermon. How is the religious character of class XII students at Madrasah Aliyah Yasti Sekura, namely: First, students are required to pray Zuhur and Asr in congregation until it becomes a habit for students to carry out their obligations as Muslims, second, students have good ethics. Is there a significant influence between muhadharah extracurricular activities on improving the religious character of class XII students at Madrasah Aliyah Yasti Sekura, there is a significant influence between muhadharah extracurricular activities and religious character at MA Yasti Sekura. The R square value = 0.151 or 15.1% is the contribution of muhadharah extracurricular activities to religious character values, while the remaining 84.9% is influenced by other factors, which are explained by other variables not examined in this study.
