ABSTRACT Background: The involvement of female nurses into the world of work causes women to have multiple roles. Family work conflict is a conflict arising from family responsibilities that interfere with job responsibilities, so the impact is the emergence of forms of job stress, interpersonal conflict in working area, career transition, the existence of the organization or superiors less supportive, long and irregular work hours and increased workload. Purpose : To determine the magnitude of the influence of dual role family work conflict against the work of female nurses in dr. Soedarso Pontianak hospitals. Method : Correlative research method with crossectional approach. The sample in this study were 60 people. Total sampling used in this study. Done in this study is questionnaire and analyzed by Chi Square statistical test. Results : This study indicate that there is the influence of family work conflict on the work stress of female nurses in dr. Soedarso Pontianak with value ρ value 0,010 (p value <0,05) which means Ha accepted and Ho rejected. Conclusions : There is influence of dual role conflict (family work conflict) to work stress of female nurse in dr. Soedarso Pontianak Keywords: Family Work Conflict, Working Stress, Female Nurse ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Terlibatnya perawat wanita ke dalam dunia kerja menyebabkan wanita memiliki peran ganda. Konflik peran ganda (family work conflict) merupakan konflik yang muncul akibat tanggung jawab terhadap keluarga yang mengganggu tanggung jawab terhadap pekerjaan. Dampak yang ditimbulkan adalah munculnya bentuk-bentuk dari stres kerja, konflik interpersonal di lingkungan kerja, transisi karir, adanya organisasi atau atasan yang kurang mendukung, jumlah jam kerja yang panjang dan tidak teratur serta meningkatnya beban kerja. Tujuan: Mengetahui besarnya pengaruh konflik peran ganda (family work conflict) terhadap stres kerja perawat wanita di RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak. Metode : Penelitian korelatif dengan pendekatan crossectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang. Tehnik pengambilan sampel dengan cara total sampling. Instrumen kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik Chi Square. Hasil : Ada pengaruh konflik peran ganda (family work conflict) terhadap stres kerja perawat wanita di RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak dengan nilai ρ value 0,010 (p value < 0,05) yang artinya Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh konflik peran ganda (family work conflict) terhadap stres kerja perawat wanita di RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak.
