Abstract

Cuaca ekstrim menyebabkan kekeringan ketika musim kemarau dan curah hujan tinggi ketika musim penghujan, serta menyebabkan beberapa drainase yang ada di walayah Jalan Danau Kerinci - Danau Toba, Kota Malang tidak mampu menampung debit limpasan air hujan. Adanya tumpukan sampah dan sedimen di dasar saluran semakin memperburuk kondisi saluran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penanggulangan genangan berbasis konservasi dengan pembuatan sigma tank dan redesain saluran baru. Metode perhitungan curah hujan menggunakan rata-rata Aljabar, jenis uji distribusi Log Pearson Tipe III kala ulang 5 tahun, dan perhitungan debit menggunakan metode rasional. Data yang diperlukan adalah site plan, dimensi saluran eksisting, data penduduk, data curah hujan tahun 2013 - 2022 (Stasiun Hujan Ciliwung, Jabung, dan Sukun), serta HSPK Kota Malang tahun 2022. Hasil perhitungan didapatkan curah hujan rancangan sebesar 76,951 mm/hari dengan 4 rencana sigma tank. Dimensi sigma tank pertama (blok I) sebesar 39,1 m x 39,1 m, kedua (blok H) sebesar 35 m x 35 m, serta ketiga dan keempat (blok G dan L) sebesar 30,3 m x 30,3 m. Keempat sigma tank tersebut berukuran tinggi 1,23 m. Sigma tank dilengkapi dengan bak kontrol inflow maupun outflow, pipa PVC berdiameter 6” dan 4”, serta dilengkapi dengan redesain 7 saluran baru u-ditch berdimensi: 1,5m x 1,5 m; 1,2 m x 1,2 m; 1,0 m x 1,0 m; dan 0,8 m x 0,8 m. Perhitungan redesain sigma tank diperoleh RAB sebesar Rp12.276.906.851,00. Berdasaran hasil perhitungan serta perencanaan sigma tank dan u-ditch, genangan dapat ditanggulangi karena debit kapasitas saluran lebih besar dari debit banji rancangan.

Abstract

 Rear-end collisions with trucks often occur due to the lack of driver awareness in maintaining a safe following distance, as well as the presence of blind spots around the truck, especially at the rear. These blind spots make it difficult for drivers of vehicles too close to the truck to be detected, thus increasing the risk of collision, especially during sudden braking. To address this issue, this study develops a prototype of a rear-end collision early warning system based on Arduino, using TF02-Pro LiDAR and MK421137 speed sensors. This system is designed to detect the distance and speed of vehicles behind in real-time and provide an alarm warning if the distance and speed conditions reach dangerous thresholds.              Testing was carried out using simulations with variations in the speed of the following vehicle at 15 km/h, 20 km/h, and 30 km/h. The results showed that the system successfully detected the speed of the following vehicle with an accuracy of 97.75% and an average error of 2.25%. Furthermore, the alarm status was successfully activated based on the predefined distance and speed thresholds. This prototype is expected to enhance road safety by providing effective early warnings to drivers behind trucks.
