Abstract

Depo MedroxyProgesterone Acetate (DMPA) which gives 150 mg of progesterone in the form of small particles given every 12 weeks by intramuscular injection (in the buttocks area). However, injectable birth control also has many side effects such as weight gain, amenorrhea, headaches, spotting bleeding (Hanafi, 2013). From the results of an initial survey at the Alita Medika Balongbendo Sidoarjo Polyclinic obtained data from 10 respondents showing that there are still many DMPA injection acceptor acceptors with a usage time of more than 2 years that succeeded in amenorrhoea. The purpose of this study was to Analyze the Length of the use of DMPA Injections with Amenorrhea in the Alita Medika Balong Bendo Sidoarjo Polyclinic in 2023. The design of this study was a cross sectional analytic study using a survey (survey research). The population in this study were all DMPA injection KB acceptors who arrived at the Alita Medica Polyclinic Balong Bendo Sidoarjo and took their samples using a nonprobability sampling technique by accidental sampling taken by 25 respondents. The independent variable of this study is the length of the use of DMPA injection KB with a nominal data scale and the dependent variable of this study is the incidence of amenorrhea with a nominal data scale. This research was conducted in January to July 2023 at the Alita Medika Clinic Balong Bendo Sidoarjo. In collecting data from respondents, the next step taken by researchers is to process data by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, data entry, and cleaning. Data analysis in this study used the coefficient contingency test. From the coefficient contingency test results obtained that the value of p <α = 0.002 <0.005 which means that H1 is accepted is the long relationship between the use of DMPA injection KB with amenorrhea. By using DMPA injection contraception for a long time, amenorrhea will increase. By using DMPA injections for a long period of time, the endometrial growth will be smaller and there will be endometrial atrophy.

Abstract

Mother's Milk (ASI) is the best and most suitable food for babies to ensure the growth of babies into human quality. The substances contained in breast milk contain almost all the nutrients needed by babies with concentrations that suit the needs of the baby. (MOH RI, 2014). Based on preliminary studies conducted by researchers at Clinic Hj. Tapianie Prambon Sidoarjo in January 2020 from 15 respondents showed that the attitude of the mother in giving exclusive breast milk is very good this is because of the large amount of family support in motivating mothers to want to breastfeed exclusively. The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship Between Family Support and Attitude of Postpartum Mother in Giving Exclusive Asi at Clinic Hj. Tarpianie Prambon Sidoarjo Year 2020. The design of this study included a cross sectional analytic study with a survey approach. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers in Clinic Hj. Tarpianie Amd.Keb Prambon Sidoarjo Year 2020, the sample in this study was taken with a non-probability sampling technique by means of accidental sampling, amounting to 31 respondents. The independent variable in this study is family support with an ordinal scale and the dependent variable is the attitude in exclusive breastfeeding with an ordinal data scale. This research was conducted from January to July 2020 in the Class of Pregnant Women at Clinic Hj. Tarpianie, Amd. Keb Prambon Sidoarjo using a questionnaire measuring instrument that was tested with a validity and reliability test. In collecting data from respondents the next step taken by researchers is data processing by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, data entry, and cleaning. Data analysis in this study used the Spearman rank test. From the Spearman rank test results following the normal distribution with a significant level (α = 0.05), it was found that p value <α or 0.001 <0.05 which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between family support and mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding. The form of husband's support can be shown by the husband through daily activities, for example giving information to the mother about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding to the baby or taking the mother to a health service to find information. If a mother benefits from all her husband's support, then a mother has received a positive stimulus to change her attitude to be positive.

One of the causes of the inactivity of mothers to join the class of pregnant women is due to work, limited time, opportunities, education, knowledge, lack of self-motivation and lack of support from the husband. Preliminary survey results conducted in Singogalih Village, Tarik Sidoarjo District in January 2020, were obtained from 10 participants who were enrolled in the pregnant mother’s class, only 4 pregnant women had attended the pregnant mother’s class. This shows that there are still many pregnant women who have not yet joined the class of pregnant women. The design of this research is correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population studied was all pregnant women with samples of second and third trimester pregnant women of 20 pregnant women. The independent variable was examined by the husband's support while the dependent variable was activeness in taking the class of pregnant women. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling technique by means of purposive sampling, which is taking samples in accordance with the wishes of researchers. The results were analyzed using the Spearman Rank statistical test. The results obtained by the significance value (α) is 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.039 that the majority of respondents (65%) actively attend the class of pregnant women as many as 13 out of 20 pregnant women. Then the conclusion is that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is active activity of pregnant women in the pregnant class in terms of the husband's support about the pregnant class in Singogalih village, Tarik Sidoarjo district in 2020.
