Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of religious moderation and digital literacy into the Islamic Religious Education (IRE) curriculum in the post-truth era and to formulate a conceptual curriculum model relevant to contemporary socio-digital challenges. The study employed a qualitative conceptual research design using a library research approach. Data were collected from books, scientific journal articles, policy documents, and previous studies related to Islamic education, religious moderation, digital literacy, and curriculum development. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative content analysis through identification, classification, interpretation, and synthesis of relevant literature. The findings reveal that integrating religious moderation values such as tolerance, justice, balance, and non-violence into the IRE curriculum can foster inclusive, peaceful, and socially responsible learners. In addition, strengthening digital literacy helps students critically evaluate online religious information, prevent misinformation, and engage ethically in digital spaces. The study also found that adaptive learning strategies such as collaborative learning, reflective discussion, and problem-based learning support the implementation of a moderation- and digital literacy-based curriculum. However, challenges related to teachers’ digital competence and unequal technological infrastructure remain significant obstacles. Overall, this study concludes that the integration of religious moderation and digital literacy provides a relevant and transformative framework for developing Islamic Religious Education that is critical, moderate, and adaptive to the challenges of the post-truth era

Abstract

Early childhood is considered a golden age, a phase that occurs only once in human development. Therefore, it should serve as a fundamental period that significantly influences an individual’s future growth and development into adulthood. One of the most essential competencies for young children in the 21st century is creativity. Creativity itself refers to a higher-order thinking capacity that reflects an advancement in cognitive processes, characterized by continuity, discontinuity, variation, and integration across developmental stages. It is the ability to produce something new or generate innovation. Children’s creativity can be measured through several indicators that need to be encouraged, based on theories of early childhood creativity. These include: the capacity to produce forms or ideas, a high level of curiosity, the ability to create independently without assistance, the ability to answer simple questions, and a sense of responsibility toward assigned tasks. A child’s continuously developing creative thinking ability will lead to the generation of ideas, the formation of relevant connections, the development of imagination, and the ability to view problems from multiple perspectives. Creativity is not exclusive to gifted individuals; every person has the potential to be creative when provided with an appropriate environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the center-based learning model in early childhood education, its implications for child development, and to identify its strengths and challenges at TK Negeri Pembina Pacitan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a field research method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the center-based learning model has been carried out quite well through planning, learning environment arrangement, core activities in learning centers, and closing activities. The model positively impacts children’s development, including cognitive, social-emotional, language, and motor aspects in a holistic way through play-based learning. In addition, the model increases children’s activeness, independence, and enthusiasm. However, several challenges were found, such as limited facilities, time management issues, and varying teacher competencies in managing learning centers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of gross motor-based outdoor activities in improving the learning concentration of children aged 3–4 years at PAUD Plus Az-Zalfa Pacitan. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 42 children divided into two groups (Class A and Class B), namely an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 21 children. The instrument used was an observation sheet measuring learning concentration with indicators of focus, following instructions, and task completion. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with an average increase of 9.95 compared to 1.67 in the control group. Statistical analysis revealed a significance value of p < 0.001. These findings indicate that gross motor-based outdoor activities are effective in enhancing the learning concentration of early childhood learners.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an (tahfidz) is a fundamental component of Islamic education that contributes significantly to a Muslim's spiritual and intellectual growth. However, in practice, many students (santri) encounter challenges in the memorization process, including difficulties with concentration, the use of less effective methods, and limited time available for focused memorization. This study aims to examine the implementation of the talaqqi method in improving the quality of Qur'an memorization among students at Adab Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Baleharjo, Pacitan. The talaqqi method is a learning approach in which students engage directly with the teacher through listening, imitating, and receiving immediate correction of their recitation. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the application of the talaqqi method enhances the quality of students' memorization, particularly in term of accurate tajwid and makhraj (pronunciation), fluency, and proper etiquette in reciting the Qur'an. Supporting factors identified include a conducive learning environment, strong student motivation and discipline, support from parent and the surrounding community, and a structured learning system. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include low motivation and inconsistency among students, limited instructional time, variations in students' abilities, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and insufficient repetition (muraja'ah).
