Abstract

In the last decade, there has been an increasing debate about teachings related to women, especially Islam. Many began to question religious teachings that seemed gender biased. In some ways that seem to discredit women. Islam, which normatively teaches the equality of men and women, cannot be separated from the understanding of gender bias. However, the terms and concepts of gender are not widely understood by the public. Stereotypes of women who are presented in society as weak, do not have intelligence, and tend to be passive. In this novel, Allina Suhita describes the character of a pious woman in Alina Suhita. Suhita is a great woman who can put herself into a wife, daughter-in-law, and daughter. The novel teaches us to be strong women and not only that us as women depend on a man. Even in the novel, they still adhere to the old patriarchal teachings, such as the old teachings, women are still considered weak and bringers of disaster. But with the presence of Alina Suhita, she will change all these untrue principles to make women equal to men.

Abstract

The content of moral values in literary works, especially in star novels in which there are teachings for students at school. The purpose of this study was to describe the moral values of the novel Bintang, and the relationship between the moral values of the novel Bintang and character education in adolescents. This research uses descriptive and qualitative research methods. The data source in this research is the novel Bintang by Tere Liye. The data is in the form of sentences and words that contain moral values. Data collection techniques were carried out by reading, note-taking, and interpreting techniques. The subject of this research is the researcher himself. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative technique. The results of the research, Tere Liye's Bintang Novel with the theme of friendship in adventure teaches mutual trust and cooperation, the moral values found in Bintang's novel are related to the relationship between humans and God, humans with themselves, and humans with other humans in the social sphere.

Abstract

Dongeng Ande-Ande Lumut menceritakan tentang pangeran Kusumayuda yang bertemu dengan klenthing kuning si bungsu dari empat bersaudara, anak seorang janda yang tinggal disalah satu desa bawahan ayah pangeran Kusumayuda memerintah. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai karakter dalam cerita Ande-Ande Lumut. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perwatakan dan penokohan cerita rakyat Ande-Ande Lumut. Penelitian ini diharapkan untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang nilai karakter karena merupakan suatu perilaku atau sikap yang terpaku pada norma yang telah berlaku di masyarakat, dan mencakup segala aspek sosial dan lingkungan , kepribadian dan spiritual. Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitataif dan juga menggunakan penelitian structural. Sedangkan pengumpulan data pada pada penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi dan analisi data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai karakter yang terdapat pada dongeng Ande-Ande Lumut mencakup aspek sosial dan lingkungan, aspek spiritual serta aspek kepribadian. Ketiga aspek tersebut dapat diteladani seseorang dan patut diterapkan dikehidupan sehari-hari sehingga dongeng ini dapat dijadikan sumber bacaan atau materi pembelajaran oleh guru kepada murid sehingga murid dapat berkarakter sesuai dengan budaya bangsa Indonesia.
