Abstract

In the implementation of the teaching and learning process, educators have a number of alternative methods for knowledge transfer. Selected media and methods are used as tools for educators to be able to convey the material correctly, which is coherent, easy to understand, and also clearly conveyed. This study aims to design and conceptualize online learning to support lectures with a project approach. The Blended Method using the Learning Management System (LMS) developed by the State Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema) is integrated with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach which is relevant because it take advantage of the online teaching system for students who have native digital skills. Because it is based on digital applications, LMS also makes it easier for students to access all learning content from anywhere and anytime. The Blended Method of LMS and PjBL combines learning methods of exploration, interpretation, and synthesis to produce a product that strives to meet adaptive characteristics with the times. Through qualitative research methods, it is hoped that the results of this study can describe the implementation of the LMS and PjBL blended methods that meet the characteristics of self-contained, stand alone, self-instructional where students can study comprehensive learning resources independently, both with and without lecturer guidance. In addition, user-friendliness is one of the important characteristics that must be met so that learning media must be easy to understand, use, and use as widely as possible. This model does not only focus on value as the end result, but emphasizes how a team can solve the problem and finally produce a product. This approach allows students to gain invaluable experience by actively participating in working on their projects.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the practice of preparing regional financial statements and its obstacles. This study employed a qualitative design. The analysis method used was data triangulation by reducing, presenting, and verifying data. The results of the study showed that BPKA prepared financial statements according to PP 71/2010 using SIMDA in its preparation. In practice, the preparation of financial statements encountered obstacles by human resources namely confusion in recording transaction due the policy changes. Moreover, the delay of data submitted by all agencies in the goverment of Pasuruan caused the information submitted by regional financial statements of Pasuruan was not reliable. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui praktik dan kendala yang dialami dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan daerah. Jenis analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah triangulasi data dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, kemudian memverifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BPKA telah menyusun laporan keuangan sesuai dengan PP 71/2010 dengan menggunakan SIMDA dalam penyusunannya. Pada praktiknya, penyusunan laporan keuangan ditemui kendala yang dihadapi SDM seperti kebingungan dalam pencatatan transaksi akibat perubahan kebijakan. Selain itu, keterlambatan data yang disampaikan oleh seluruh instansi pada pemerintahan kota Pasuruan menyebabkan informasi yang disampaikan laporan keuangan daerah kota Pasuruan tidak handal.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to implement a learning model during lectures that integrates Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in the Computer Accounting course. This learning strategy makes it possible to produce qualifications for graduates' abilities starting from their attitudes, knowledge and skills in accordance with national higher education standards. It is proven that through the combination of PjBL and CTL, students can relate the material to real world situations, thus motivating students to make connections between knowledge and application in real life using projects as a medium. Student involvement in this project is their "research" area, starting from finding possible problems, analyzing the problem and drawing conclusions or finding solutions. The results of the research show that there are changes in students' learning behavior and social communication skills which can be seen in the assessment rubric through completing the assignments given. This combination of learning models is considered to be in accordance with the character of adult education (adult learning) which can motivate oneself by using the experience and knowledge gained so that the results can be oriented towards achievement and the relevance of the material through an independent learning process adapted to different types of learning styles.
